Bam!!!

A big splash of water from the lake make Kyra turn her head to look at the center of the lake. She just finished doing her laundry near the lake. When she looks at the center of the deep lake, she could only see a few bubbles bubbling out from the surface.

She then looked up at the high rocky mountain up above her, squinting her eyes a bit, she can't see anything except a few of tree branch which is broke and a few small black figures seems like it's gonna fall to the lake too.

Bam! Bam!

Another series of splashing water hit her face a little bit at the side of the lake. She was sure she saw a backpack and something long looks like a sword. She takes off her cloak and jumps to the water. Swimming to the center and she can see the bag and sword which just fall earlier. She retrieves it, and when she wants to go to the surface, her eyes caught a glimpse of a man holding something on his arm. He looks pretty badly injured.

She immediately went to surface and put the backpack and the sword to the rocky edge of the lake before she swims back to the center of the lake.

'There he is!' She swims and tries to tug his hand on his so that she can pull him up to the surface, but his hand didn't move from hugging something. She then swims to his right side and found that he was hugging a girl. She looks like she was holding onto his clothes tightly.

'Ah! Come on! Did these two couples jump off from the cliff to have a suicide?!' She already bristling inwardly.

Not having the heart to leave them died in a pathetic way, she swims back to the behind of the man. She pulls his collar with all she might.

'Urghh!!! He's damn heavy!!' Slowly, both of them were pulled out from the lake.

"Hah! Hah! Hah!" She panting heavily while dragging both of them to the ground. "What is he? A beast? How can a man be so heavy like him? Not only that, why the hell he still hugging that girl?!" Kyra feels like she wants to stomp on that man right now.

She looks around and calls her horse. "Pegasus, come here."

A white horse with a cart at the back come close to her. She only accepts her master order and if anyone else giving orders to her, she would just ignore it and did not move at all even a little.

Inside the cart is a pail of her laundry. Kyra finds something from her backpack and uses it to prick on Hayden's finger. Slowly, his grip on Yuina's body starts to loosen. This way, Kyra can perform chest compression on Yuina's chest before she saves Hayden.

Both of them pass out after coughing out the water from their mouth. Their complexion is pale as a sheet of paper. Blood keeps flowing from the wound in Hayden's back.

"They need to be treated faster. Especially this beast man." Kyra murmurs and pulls Yuina to the cart before she pulls Hayden too.

Ride her white horse, Kyra went back to her house with both of them in her cart.

Zirconia Castle.

"Thank you for your hard work." Hans turns his body around and leaves the hall. He clenching the bracelet in his hand.

'Why you have to go to that extent?' His eyes show a glint of regret but only for a moment before it changes back to his determination eyes. He needs to keep his head straight and do his job properly.

'I'll prove it that I don't need the power of those dragons. A man can still rule the world by his own hand.'

Seeing Prince Hans already left the hall, his adviser ended the meeting with commander Zuko and let him have a rest in the castle. Tomorrow is a big day where the news about the princess's death will be released and the meeting with all general for a new king also will be held in tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Commander Zuko is relieved when his word is trusted by the new king. This is also can be the first step to stay beside His Highness and replace General Hayden's spot in this castle soon.

The next day,

A group of a convoy from other tribe arrives at the castle. One by one General from each tribe walks into the official meeting chamber. Including Lord Mathias and Hades.

"Good day Lord Mathias." General Abi smirking a bit when seeing Lord Mathias and Hades. He knows about the betrayal General Hayden, thus, he had a skeptical look on the Sky tribe.

"General Abi. Seems like your body still look like a giant after all these years huh? Eh, why you wear your dress? Aren't you a man?" Lord Mathias reply to him with a touch of sarcasm. General Abi is the leader of the Earth tribe. Their tribe has unique traditional clothes than other tribes.

Feeling a bit shame, he just ignore him and went ahead to the meeting room. Hades already curled up his lips seeing that old man Mathias bully the General from another tribe.

General Abi is on the number two ranking in every yearly tournament. Before Hayden being a General, he always wins the first place. But after that, he starts to lose to General Hayden when he was just sixteen. That is when he had a good view of General Hayden.

He also respected him even though he still just a brat that time. When he heard about the news, he couldn't believe it. But, to be a king, you indeed need to marry the princess. So everything is possible. Power can blind one man. Hayden is also including in the list.

Sit at a chair in front of the big round table, Hades looks at all other General. There's a pretty lady, a General from Water tribe, General Kiki. She looks soft and fragile. Yet she held a great fighting skill in a battlefield. Her face looks calm and she did not even look at other people while sitting.

Hades then turns to look at another General, General Huo. He's from Fire tribe. He had a figure of a leader. His shoulder is straight and he had determination eyes. He also looks all serious. Based on his figure, he might be around Hayden's aged. He replaces his father's post last year. He is the firstborn of previous General and had a little brother which is a bit useless.

Not long after, Prince Hans walks inside the meeting chamber with his adviser, four of councils member and Royal Priest. All of the five people inside the chamber standing up and bow their head until Prince Hans take a sit at the center.

"Sit down, all." His voice sounds soft and calm.

All of them take a sit back. Hans looks at all the face inside the meeting chamber today. All of them did not show any slightest rebelling face.

"As all of you know, our Kingdom is now in a crisis when King Edward is killed by one of our own General and the princess also had been kidnap by him."

Hades wants to say something, but immediately, Lord Mathias hold down his hand under the table with tight. Not wanting him to cause a ruckus right now.

"Has he been detained, Your Majesty?" General Kiki start. A bit interested with the story.

Looking at the beautiful General with sea blue apparel, he nods his head.

All of the four general a bit shocked. They never thought that Hayden can be arrested that easy. He is a very powerful General with a weird superpower. That can't be denied.

"Unfortunately, during the detaining process, Hayden took the princess and jump off from the cliff." He took out a bracelet from his pocket and put it on the table.

Another shocking news that makes all the general look at the bracelet. "The only heiress of the late King Edward is dead. "

"We will mourn on princess death for three days and after that, we will need to crown the new king. The new king is none other than Prince Hans Robert. Is there any objection among all of you? If you have, please state it now." The old Royal Priest said with firmly. He is the one who will decide what's best for the kingdom on behalf of King if King is absence.

All of them lowered their head. What else can they say? They did not have any royal blood in their vein, the princess is dead, thus, the only option left to let Prince Hans get the crown.

"If not, then we will continue with the original plan, three days from now." The old Royal Priest taps his cane on the floor indicating the King position has been decided.

"Any news, report or question that you all need to inform or ask?" Adviser Albert takes a turn to continue the meeting.

"I have one, sire." Lord Mathias voicing out. He looks calm even though the news about General Hayden should've given a big impact on him.

Prince Hans bobbed his head. Ready to hear it out.

"Your Highness, my elder son has betrayed this kingdom and cause the death of the princess, thus, I want to know if, we, Sky tribe still can receive your mercy, Your Highness?" Lord Mathias lowered his gaze when he's done talking.

"The one who betrays this kingdom is one person. Thus, the whole tribe is not engaged with his plan at all. Sky tribe can still receive all the treat as the other tribes do. However, Sky tribe need to be clear to not side with the traitor in the next time. The General post also needs to be reconstructed. Do you have any candidate that can take General Hayden's post?" Hans said makes other tribes have good faith in him as a new King.

Even though Sky tribe can be banished or receive a big impact from what General Hayden does, still, prince Hans did not put the blame and release his wrath toward the whole tribe. He can act rationally and decide what's good for a country. If it is his adopted father, sure Sky tribe is now already not exist anymore.

"Yes, Your Highness. I bring a new chief of our tribe. Hades, to be the next General." Lord Mathias still lowered his head.

"Hades? Great. Welcome to our team." Prince Hans smiles brightly to him.
