Chapter 6

"The future huh? Hmm for now I want to join my mother in her travels and explore the world. I am going to be the most famous archaeologist from Ohara " declared Robin.

Hearing the name Ohara a sudden headache struck the giant and he suddenly clutched his head. Seeing this Robin got a bit concerned and asked "Hey big guy are you alright?"

Just as she finished asking the question she noticed the giant's face which showed an expression of pain had turned into panic. He then immediately asked " Little girl where are we right now? Whats your name ? and whats your mother's name?" Robin replied with confused look " This is the island of Ohara, My name is Nico Robin and my mom is Nico Olivia"

Hearing this the Giant was shocked and said in a panicked tone " Listen carefully I have just remembered about my self. I am Jaguar D. Saul, I used to be a vice admiral in the marines but I defected because the world government has ordered complete destruction of Ohara as they know that people here are researching about the Void Century and I was against killing of the innocents."

As soon as Robin heard this she was shocked speechless and a few moments later when she recovered she asked with a blank expression " You are joking right? How do I know you aren't lying? How did the world government know ? no none of these matter , most important question is when are they coming ?" Before Jaguar could answer Robin had already picked up a larger number of ships approaching the island through her observation haki, she ran towards the lab at maximum speed to warn the others and try to escape the blockade before things turn any more grave. Sadly she was so focused in reaching the lab that she dint see the young woman who had completely white hair and shared resemblances with her running towards the shore carrying a gun.

On reaching the lab she realized that the others in the lab had were aware of the arrival of the navy as they were frantically running around some hiding the sensitive data and others trying to hide a few important books. She then found professor Clover and said in a hurried tone " Professor the navy are coming, let us leave quickly"

"No my child only you need to leave the island quickly for us our books and research are out lives, running away without them is same getting killed. Make sure to not to tell anyone you are archaeologist when boarding the evacuation ship along with other residents."

"If you are not leaving so am I. And no I will never hide the fact I am one of you no matter what. I am staying here and defend the lab along with you guys" replied Robin with determination, she continued "Do you know what happened to my mother ? Did she comeback to warn you guys?"

"No your mother has not come back to the island , so go fulfill your dream of finding your mom in the seas and leave the island now" said the professor with a heavy heart. Although he dint want to lie to the little girl it was her mother's wish that she would cut off any form contact and relationship with Robin so that she wont implicate her daughter for her crimes.

But Robin could already sense he was lying but did not confront him. As soon as the professor finished speaking the lab's door was burst open and group of men entered the room shouting "Archaeologists of Ohara , raise your hands and exit the labs in orderly fashion, you are suspected of planning to commit an act of terror against the world government by trying to find weapons of mass destruction of the void century through deciphering poneglyphs, hence a thorough investigation will be carried out"

While the scientists were being escorted out of the lab, Robin knew deep down inside that once again the people whom she considered as family are going to get slaughtered and once again she was not powerful enough to prevent this situation. No matter how hard she tried to repress the feeling and try to feel optimistic about their chances , she just couldn't. Her last rays of hope were destroyed when saw three men dragging and injured women along. As soon as she saw the woman she immediately recognized her as her mother.

Just as she was about to attack the three men to vent out the raging fury inside her professor Clover, sensing her turmoil, placed his hand on her shoulder as if telling her to calm down and not do something stupid in the heat of the moment. She soon realized that although she could defeat the three men in front of her , she couldn't kill or defeat them instantly even if she caught them by surprise. Hence she could really endanger other scientists, if they targeted the scientists due to her act of aggression.

Nico Olivia was thrown like a rag-doll in front the scientists of Ohara by the man who was dragging her, Robin immediately rushed forward to check on Olivia, holding out tears from flowing through her eyes and suppressing the rage building up inside her.
