After few days, i finished my college. Now I must find job and get settled. I had to do it to be with Sheldon. When I become independent, I can do whatever i wanted. I had an interview in a small startup company. I thought that starting your career in start ups helps you to grow. It was not like I could not work in big companies. It was just that I wanted work in somewhere I would be interested to do something.

But Sheldon didn't like it. He didn't want me to work. I asked him so many times why he was doing it. But he did not answer me. I made him understand why I wanted to work and he was fine with that.

I attended interview and it was good. I might get selected. HR said he would contact me as soon as possible and let me know the results. You know what if they say they would get back, then they would never contact you. It was okay. I can find another job.

After couple of days, The HR contacted me and asked me to join from coming Monday. I was very excited and I wanted to inform this to Sheldon. I called him. But he didn't pick my call. I called Emma. Even she didn't pick my call. It was okay. they might be busy. Then I called Anna and Grace. We were talking for sometime.

Grace found a new boyfriend and she was telling us about her new boyfriend. It was really good to know that. Anna planned to go to US for her higher studies. It was good too. Even I wanted to do higher studies. But then I was a married woman and I should find a way to be with my husband. Then I could do my higher studies. Sheldon would allow me to follow my dreams.

Sheldon call me around 7 pm in the evening. His voice was not very cheerful.

Sheldon: Tell me Asta. You called me.

Asta: I cleared my interview. They asked me to join on Monday.

Sheldon: Oh good. All the best. Is there anything else??

Asta: No.

Sheldon: Then fine. Bye.

He hung up the call without my response. I didn't know know what happened to him. His voice was not that good. He sounded very exhausted and sad. I didn't want to disturb him for sometime.

Around 12 o clock I got a call from Sheldon again. I was in a deep sleep. That call disturbed my sleep.

Asta: What Sheldon. You are disturbing my sleep.

Sheldon: I am waiting in front of you apartment. Can you come down?

Asta: Now????

Sheldon: Yes.

Asta: Ok. Wait for 5 mints. I will be there.

Sheldon: okay.

I went down after we hung up. I met Sheldon there. He was very exhausted. His eyes were red like he cried for such a long time. I didn't know what happened to him. I hugged him tightly. I could not see him like that. It was hurting me too. He hugged be back even tighter. I could sense that something was off.

Asta: What happened Sheldon? Why are you looking like a complete mess?

Sheldon: Nothing. Let me hold you for sometime. I think I might be our last hug. I just want to take it completely.

Asta: What are you talking Sheldon??

I was really shocked listening to him. I didn't know why he said that.

Sheldon: I just felt that. I felt like we cannot meet hereafter. I have something for you.

I don't know why he is behaving like that.

Asta: What happened Sheldon? Why are you behaving weird?

Suddenly he pushed me breaking our hug. He opened his car door and took a file and one gift box. He gave both to me.

Sheldon: Let's break up Asta.

I took some time for me to understand what he said.

Asta: What??

Sheldon: Let's break up. Divorce papers are there in the file. I already signed and you have to sign and send back to my lawyer. I am going London tomorrow. We don't have to be there for divorce procedure. My lawyer will take care of that. Bye.

After telling this, He hugged me tightly. I was confused and didn't know what to do. He started crying. He rested his head on my shoulder and started crying like a baby.

Sheldon: I love you baby. I love you a lot. Don't hate me baby. I don't have another option. I am sorry. Really sorry.

He cried. He broke our hug and hopped inside the car without saying anything and I didn't even take look at me. He went. My Sheldon went.
