Kara Lu's face turned darker as she watched the loser Sierra Co and Mira Cheng covered their mouths with hands to contain their laughter. This Mira Cheng dare to humiliate her? Still, she cannot lose her cool. Instead of throwing tantrums like she would do in their mansion, she just smiled.

"I am the Young Miss Lu, Miss Cheng. I'm sorry if I assumed that you know me," she said.

Mira Cheng raised an eyebrow. Of course, she knew who Kara Lu was. The so-called Goddess of Costa City. The woman in front of her indeed was beautiful. The long black hair that flow freely through her smooth shoulders. Her hair framed her face.

Kara Lu has nicely-shaped shoulders. It was the type one wanted to touch but too immaculate to lay even a finger on it. Mira Cheng must say, this woman in front of her really knew how to flaunt her assets.

Kara Lu wore a spaghetti strap dress the color of lavender. It perfectly accentuated her white skin. Her face was small, almost delicate to look at. The highlight was Kara Lu's eyes. It was the color of the ocean. Her mother was a foreigner. A model at that.

But what kind of people Mira Cheng has not seen in her life? She grew up in the fashion industry. The Cheng Fashion House was not an Old Rich company just like the Co Conglomerate but years of operating has given the business an opportunity to establish crucial connections both in and out of the industry.

If the board rooms of conglomerates have sharks inside, the fashion industry was full of snakes. And the perfect example of a snake was standing in front of Mira Cheng.

Kara Lu might be the Young Miss of Lu Family but she was also in the fashion industry. The so-called Goddess of Costa City.

It seemed that Mira Cheng was out of the loop for the longest time. She pressed her lips. "Why would you assume I know you? As far as I am concerned, I do not have dealings with the Lu Family."

Marvin Kang who cannot accept that his woman was being humiliated like that took a step forward. "Miss Cheng, Kara Lu is my fiancée."

Mira Cheng inclined her head. "Was that a guarantee that I should know her? I don't even know the daughter of the Costa City's Governor."

Marvin Kang clenched his jaw. "Just because you are friends with that woman doesn't give you the right to humiliate my fiancée," he said, pointing towards Sierra Co. He cannot use the 'Young Miss Lu' excuse anymore as he can see it doesn't carry its weight anymore.

Ria Zhang just raised the corner of her mouth. Friends with who? It was her first time meeting Mira Cheng and as she glanced towards Lulu, she knew that the previous owner of the body has neither met Mira Cheng.

"I'm sorry, Mister Kang. It's my first time meeting Miss Mira Cheng so as far as I know, the two of us are nowhere near the word 'friends'," Ria Zhang said. Her smile grew wider.

Mira Cheng squared her shoulders. "For the recond, Mister Kang. It's my first time meeting the Young Miss Co. So don't accused me of bullying your fiancée for that matter."

A person from the crowd could not hold her mouth any longer and asked. "If you are not friends with her, then why she is wearing the summer dress from the XT collection?"

The people around nodded their heads. Indeed, why was Sierra Co wearing the most coveted dress in Costa City?

Kara Lu gritted her teeth. She was preoccupied on making a fool of Sierra Co in public that she didn't notice the dress. It was the dress she wanted to buy a few months ago. But even with the help of Marvin Kang and her connections in the fashion industry, she wasn't able to get hold of the dress.

"As the resident designer of Costa Dresses, I am not compelled to answer your question. But to humor you, I will tell everyone," Mira Cheng paused, glancing around. "This dress was commissioned by the Young Master Co for his sister. Who am I to refuse him?"

The boutique went silent. It seemed that they heard wrong. Or they did not?

Young Master Co? There was only Young Master in the Co Family. At least, that was the public knew.

"No way. I haven't heard her frequenting any social gathering in Costa City."

Whereas Sierra Co was plain, haughty, and has no connections despite being part of the Co Family. Marvin Kang knew that she managed the Co TouchMe, a subsidiary of the Co Conglomerate. However, it was just a speck in the billion dollar conglomerate.

It would not provide him the power he needed. Hence, he chose Kara Lu. Did he made the wrong decision back then?

Ria Zhang had enough. She stood up and faced Misa who remained mum the whole time. "Misa, I thought you're going to let me see the latest collection?"

Misa opened her mouth to speak but no word came out. Instead, it was Mira Cheng who spoke.

"Young Master Co has called ahead of time telling the Costa Dresses to give the best service the boutique can offer to his sister," Mira Cheng said. She turned around to Misa. "Lead the Young Miss Co to VIP Room 1."

Ria Zhang knitted her eyebrows together. For his brother to know her activities without even telling them, it only means that the Co Family was very powerful. But then, who was she to object?

In this lifetime, she will do anything to live freely. Away from that spinster in the past. Maybe, she should find a boyfriend too. But wasn't it too late for a 60-year old lady to look for a boyfriend?
