Alexandra watched as the rest of the trainees like her were already getting started with training. She had to wait somewhat as her uniform had to be readjusted to fit her small stature.
"Miss Glycia, here you go." Said one of the female soldiers. She was the tailer who was adjusting her uniform. "You can move on the next lane." She said, with a smile that found her adorable.
Alexandra hurried to the next lane so that she would get far behind. She changed in the dressing room and fitted herself like how she was taught. Walking out fully dressed, she put on her extra uniforms. The moment she picked up the bag, she fell backward.
"….." Alexandra was shocked and then angry as she rolled to her side and struggled to stand up. That was until she lifted her duffle bag. She saw her feet a few inches from the ground and then looked up at another soldier.
He put her down and took her duffle bag. "place this in Miss Glycia's Quarters." He ordered another soldier, who nodded and immediately followed his orders. "Specialist Alexandra Glycia"
"Yes, Sir," Alexandra immediately responded with proper military etiquette.
"I am 8th Major General, Rogerius Famia." He said, his expression an observing one. "You will be staring on the mage course Immediately." He said as he walked away, leaving a soldier behind.
There are Sixteen Major Generals of Britannia, Sixteen being the number of states that founded the Empire into one giant country. Each Major General had their Roles. The 8th Major General will always be responsible for how the Soldier will be Trained. Both Mage and Infantry.
"Specialist Glycia, follow me." Alexandra didn't hesitate and immediately followed the female Soldier who leads her to the department that issues The Mage's Mana Jewel.
"…." Alexandra merely stared without saying anything as she was then taken outside. The female Soldier leaned down and attached the red Mana Jewel to her uniform.
"Specialist Glycia, I trust you already. Know how to use a Mana Jewel, given your family's lineage."
"Roger, Corporal. What spells am I authorized?"
"Type Two, Explosions Spell. Your Target it the Bomb Shelter, 200ms."
The Corporal then walked away and took her place by the 8th Major General's Side.
"Sir is it necessary to have her treated differently from other trainees," The Female Corporal asked.
"Every Soldier, with exceptional results, is brought up to my attention. What, Six years old, can obtain eight master's degrees in three years? Not only that, her Magic affinity is immeasurable.
But, what stands out, even more, she was the product of Soteris Glycia's insanity on creating the perfect human. Major General Glycia believes his brother succeeded in turning the child into an ideal of his the ideal soldier.
Regardless, she cannot train with the other soldiers." He Frowned before his face went a little pale. The Female Corporal followed suit when they saw that the Red Mana Jewel was about to break. The Glow of red light looked dangerous and continued to expand.
The Trainees who were doing running Drills in the distance saw the light and were shocked silly. At the same time, the instructors stared in Awe.
Alexandra was sweating. She was trying to keep the Jewel from breaking. But, eventually, she gave up. And the glow cooled down but revealed the shattered Mana Jewel.
That completely broke apart without her casting a single spell.
Rogerius did not hesitate to walk toward a dejected Alexandra. "Corporal Saexi, bring her an MBL Model Mana Stone."
"Yes, Sir." The Corporal immediately ran off.
"Specialist Glycia."
"Yes, Sir" Alexandra put away her dejected face and stood at attention.
"At ease" he waved his hand. "Specialist Glycia, How much do you know of Soteris Glycia."
Alexandra relaxed. "I know Biologically, Soteris Glycia is my father. But, he had a strong dislike of me referring to him as Father. So, he had me call him Uncle."
"I see. Continue."
"Soteris Glycia was a brilliant scientist who went mad after experience the death of multiple members of the Glycia family. Including his wife, my mother, and his son, my older brother.
He vowed to create the perfect soldier to end the fighting and bring peace, not to be necessary for people to lose their families.
As a result, with his remaining child, Me, he experimented on…..My Father didn't wish to tell me. But I had snuck into his office once to read my Uncle's Journal.
From his text, I understood what was done?"
"And what had he done?" Rogerius face grew stale.
Alexandra touched the broken red Mana Jewel. "I feed, Liquid version of the mana crystal that was condensed into high concentrations."
Rogerius looked startled before finally going into deep thought.
