Chapter 42: Avengers assembly before a great party

Black Panther had found Superman standing outside his room waiting.

"Superman! Did you go in?" He asked, slightly panicked.

"No, I felt it was rude to walk into your room without your permission." Superman said, trying to forget what he had seen.

"Good... I haven't cleaned my room yet, I don't want you to think I'm messy.. That's why I was worried."

He found good excuses, as they walked back.

As they walked in, Superman saw that the room was filled with people and he was surprised to see some new faces among them.

Ironman, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Bruce Banner, Black widow, Hawkeye, Spiderman, daredevil, Luke Cage, Firestar, the fantastic four, Ultron... IronFist, Warmachine, Ant-Man, The Wasp, The winter soldier.

'I see, they resolved the Bucky Barnes drama... But why does he look so nervously at me?' Superman thought

Superman, rarely got involved in Avengers matters, as he was seen as the big gun.

Superman had also made it clear that he will stay out of political matters, so he had missed a few events it seems.

But even then, to all those in the room and the globe for that matter, Superman was almost synonymous with Avengers as he was one of the founding members and the face of it all.

As superman and black panther stepped in, most of the new faces slightly lit up at finally seeing their hero, Superman in the flesh.

Some had worked for a while but never seen Superman, as he could help people around the globe on his own.

"I won't be down here fighting with you!" Superman made his stance clear as soon as he stepped inside.

Everyone got slightly worried about his statement, and some were ready to protest his decision.

"I'll go up there, and fight them outside of the atmosphere, I won't bother with the weaker ones, you take care of those that pass me." Superman said, having made up his mind. He felt like an army as big as this, would have someone strong enough to lead it, he just doesnt know how strong.

'If my suspicion is correct, then I can't fight on earth!' Superman thought.

"Fine, But I go with you!" Captain Marvel said.

"No, I need you down here, we don't know who among them might be strong. We'll need you, Hulk, Ben and Luce cage for the worst case scenario." Superman made his thoughts clear.

"Father and I have prepared, I will stand guard with every policeman, and military squads, in every city, ready to protect earth in its inhabitants!" Ultron made his stance clear.

"Good, remember, protecting the people is your main mission." Superman responded to him, putting aside his personal feelings.

"Captain America, will lead you all. Some of you new faces, aren't used to working in teams but do your best in trying to follow commands!" Superman said giving advice to the newbies.

"Captain, in case of unpredicted circumstances, remember that you have Tony, Bruce and Reed with you, the brightest of mankind, do not be shy in using their brains."

Captain America just nodded agreeing with his words.

"Black Panther, you have a vital role, not in the battlefield, but outside it. I need you to personally lead your troops, and prepare the defences, set the flow of the battle and when you feel like it's good timing, give your position to someone trustworthy and join the battle with the others!"

Black panther also just nodded.

"Bruce Banner, join the battle as soon as possible, make sure to make them regret coming here!"

"Spiderman... Don't touch any weapons."

As he said that he noticed Spiderman look slightly defleted as he started taking out hidden weapons from his body.

6 guns, 2 swords, 2 short swords, dozens of throwing knifes... and one grenade. Everyone looked at him as he took those out of his suit.

"How did you... nevermind" Hawkeye said,

Captain America instinctively held his shield a bit harder as he saw this.

"Captain I'll leave the rest to you!" Superman said as he turned around

"Superman!...." Spiderman shouted while raising his hand towards Superman, even though he was far away from him.

"....Be careful." Spiderman said worriedly.

"...You too." Superman said with a tone that showed that he was just being polite.

As superman turned back to fly out, another shout came.

"Superman!" Black panther shouted suddenly scaring everyone around him.

Superman turned around, feeling his eyes starting to twitch again.

Black Panther just looked at him intently, before simply giving him a nod.

That nod spoke more than a thousand words, at least to superman who had seen T'Challa's room.

Superman Politely nodded back.

"Superman! If you make it back without scarring your pretty face, I'll let you make milk chocolate with me!" Shuri shouted.

But this time he didn't turn around, he flew out as if he hadn't heard anything.

In mid air, he almost fell down, finally understanding what she meant. Combining dark and white chocolate gives you milk chocolate.

Black panther just looked between his sister and superman, as if he had a great idea.

T'Challa blamed himself slightly because he hadn't realized this before. Superman would become his brother in law if he could arrange a marriage between those two. But looking at his sister he didn't have great hopes.

'She might be pretty, but if she got her claws on Superman... I fear that even he won't be able to fly again. If only I had a daughter... then I could become his father in law.' T'Challa sighed slightly down.

Before Superman flew outside the atmosphere, He picked up sand in both hands and held them in his fists.

And then he flew towards the sky. When he reached the clouds of spacecrafts, many of them started shooting at him as he flew closer.

Superman allowed their beams and bullets to hit him, they carried no danger whatsoever to him.

He flew closer to the center of the cluster where the biggest Crafts were. And then he threw out the sand towards the most concentrated areas with ships.

The sand exploded like a great shotgun, destroying hundreds of ships.

That was Superman's first move, something he always wanted to try.
