Between husband and brothers

Dylan is annoyed at the moment. Now that his wife met with her family, he's been abandoned. Everyone is trying to take his wife away from him. Even his kids is ignoring him. Finally he just sit in the living room, resting while he watch Lyla with her family laughing. Lyla who felt his gaze looked up and seeing his defeated face she laughed before excusing herself and made her way towards him.

"What's my handsome king doing here all alone?" She teased. Dylan pulled her hand and bring letting her sit on his lap like she usually does. He hugged her from behind and inhaling her sweet unique scent.

"Mending my own heart. It seems my queen and prince and princess has been ignoring me the moment we reach here. I have no choice but fight my own battle all alone." He replied. Lyla smile before planting a kiss on his lips.

"Does that heal my king sulking heart?"

"It's best to heal inside our chamber with my queen." Lyla slapped his arm before leaning onto his chest. Looking towards her grandparent, her parent and her brothers.

"What are you thinking?" Dylan who saw her somber look stare the same place her eyes went.

"It feels like a dream. I never expected i would see them. I'm scared of sleeping tonight in case everything will vanish in thin air. But i know it's not at the same time." Feeling warm in his embrace she knew she wasn't dreaming. It just felt a good dream.

"Wifey, i can tell you one thing. You're not dreaming. Feeling the murderous glare from your brothers i can definitely tell it's not a dream. Any moment they'll be sending me to the butcher and have me skinned." Dylan said while glaring back towards the three brothers who are walking in the living room. Disturbing his time together with his wife. In his own house she was conquered by their triplet. Now that the triplets are busy clinging with their great grandparent and grandparent, come another trio. He must have some issues with the number three in his life.

"Dylan, you can leave Lyla with us while you head back to K city. We still want to enjoy our time together with her. Since you're busy, you can head back on your own." Jayden said nonchalantly. Dylan his eyebrow and look at him before smirking.

"Apparently wherever i go, she goes."

"She's our sister. What makes you think it was a suggestion?" Jayden glared.

"The fact that she's my wife and she's under my responsibility." Dylan retorted. Jayden was about to get up before he was stopped by Adam who seem calm. Reynold seem to be at ease as well.

"We miss out our duties in protecting her due to the past. We only wanted to do what we can as her brother and at the same time to spend more time with her. I hope whenever she wants to come and see us you won't hold her back." Adam said and Lyla smile warmly at him. She's still not used to having siblings since when she was small, she was alienated all the time. She didn't know how to interact with them but she knew they mean her no harm.

"You are always welcome to our humble home in K city. Although it's not as big as this but we can definitely let you camp outside our house." Dylan in his barbarian ways. No one can defeat him no matter how polite one said, he will eventually make things hard for others. Lyla rolled her eyes.

"Stop it hubby. Be nice."

"Wifey, it's my way of showing how nice i am. Haven't you figure it out yet?" Lyla pinch his arm when she listen to his sarcastic tone.

"It's alright Lyla. He's always been like this whenever we met on business occasion. In fact we got used to his savage ways. We'll sure to see you when we have business trip there." Reynold the eldest seem unaffected with Dylan's way of giving them permission with their sister and hung out with their nephews and niece. Somehow dealing with Dylan one needs to have the ability to interpret his words. Otherwise you'll be easily flare up just like Jayden. Which is why they are always hostile with each other. Dylan like to taunt Jayden with his word play.

"Uncle. Why are you disturbing our mommy and daddy together? It's their time together. Otherwise daddy will take mommy away if he's not happy." Ryan showed up out of nowhere pulling Jayden's hand. Layla and Aiden each pull Reynold's and Adam's hand. Everyone was flabbergasted.

"You threaten my nephews and niece?" Jayden close to roaring the words. If it wasn't because there's kids around he will definitely curse the darn man. Just how did his sister married this annoying man?

"No. I was only telling the truth." Lyla smack her forehead and just wanted to dig a hole so she can hide from this shameless man.

"But uncle Jay, we're okay if daddy spend time with mommy. Since it's the only time mommy stops working. Daddy says mommy work too much. That's why daddy keep on telling us not to trouble mommy." Layla said with her dark black eyes just like her father looking at Jayden. Making her look almost like a doll. Immediately the flame inside Jayden's heart cease. Seeing her adorable face melts his cold face.

"Mommy always work late and only daddy can stop mommy from working and spend more time with us." Aiden confirmed this making Lyla speechless. It's true she's been busy for the past few months. But all this time she thought whenever Dylan took her away from her kids is only because he was jealous. But what she didn't know Dylan made them distract her while he's on the way home. Now that she thought about it, it all make sense. She turned towards Dylan who look at her as if he's guilty of something.

"Okay, i'll be taking your mommy to bed. Go and play along with your uncles and let them put you guys to bed." He picked Lyla up before she can start interrogating him. Thanks to their kids for bursting the bubbles.

The most annoying thing at the moment while i was writing this chapter is the burst of sunlight in my room. Never like my room to be too bright. My mom said i should live in a cave. Been considering that except its hard to find a cave that can provide me internet to upload the work. Don't forget to comment or vote. Thank you for still reading my fast pace story.
