So weird and very fishy

Hoseok was feelinga anxious and was urging the driver to go a little faster. A few minutes have passed and finally he arrived at the venue.

The time that he texted to anna last week was an hour earlier from the set time. He was hoping to have a little chit chat with her before the date but Bang PD called him on his way out, he was scared out of his wits cause he thought that the other may have caught wind on their plans.

Fortunately, even though he was called it was something about work related and still,he was not late by that much.

Hoseok felt a little bit guilty for making Anna wait for 30 minutes and approached the seat uneasily.

From the distance Hoseok saw Anna drinking wine and knew that his best friend took notice of his arrival, judging from the way that her head slightly tilted towards his way.

He sat behind Anna, but sadly his childhood friend didnt even turn around or give him any attention. Hoseok decided to compromise since he was at fault and just turned around to face Anna with a slight pout on his face.

"Anna.... Why are you ignoring me?"

Hoseok whined the pout on his face never fading. Anna also turned around and face Hoseok cause she can't stand his whiny voice when she is the one who should be whining from injustice.

Hoseok's breath slightly hitched when anna turned he saw her dressed in nice clothes although he did not see the clothes entirely, she still looked stunning in his eyes. His outlook is that Anna usually wore clothes that are comfortable with lack of regard to how she looks.

Heck he even expected Anna to wear jersey, thats why he reminded her to dress well. She really did dress well but not the kind of "dress well" that she usually does.

"W..wow..!"

Hoseok exclaimed under his breath, which Anna didnt took notice of. Now that he thought about, even way back on junior days, he never saw Anna dressed beautifully during school celebrations and important occasions like what she is wearing now. So it really caught him by surprise.

"I was not ignoring you, i was just appreciating the wine given to me while waiting."

Anna replied a little coldly. Even though she wanted to act nice. She ended up revealing the bitterness she felt by acting cold to him.

"You look stunningly beautiful today."

As if Hoseok didn't heard her reply, he breathed out those words unconsciously still lost in his surprise. Anna heard it and this made her ears reddened. Ah seriously, can't this guy seriously do something that will not make her fall in love?. Anna was once again almost shocked silly by Hoseok.

"Complementing me, doesn't mean that you're safe from my wrath of making me wait. You know that i hate waiting."

She retorted with a puff, a little smug because of his compliment but also still angry for being made to wait. She really hate waiting. Ever since her heart beat for the first time, the only thing she did is wait for her feeling's to disappear or wait for her feeling's to be noticed by Hoseok. After all she never had the courage to confess, he has his own future and career to worry that time. She didnt want to be a burden.

When hoseok heard Anna speak again and saw her angry puffed face. He was finally snapped out from his thoughts but those cheeks always look so cute that he want to squeeze them.

"I know. But i'm telling the truth you know. I really expected to be here early but something came up. I'm sorry, please don't be angry."

Hoseok replied sending her one of his puppy apologetic look. Anna sighed defeatedly, cause he seemed adorkably cute. Oh how she wish that he was her adorable dork, one can just only dream

"Damn you. You knew that i'm weak to that look."

As they were talking a beautiful woman led by the waiter arrived. But she didn't seat down but went in front of Hoseok and bowed.

"I'm sorry Jhope, but i can't stay for our date. I actually came here to tell you. There's an emergency in my agency and they need me there. I thought about texting you, but i don't want for you to misunderstood me. Im sorry."

The girl immediately apologized. She stood up then bowed again and left without waiting for hoseok to reply.

Unbeknownst to them, the girl left with a slight smile on her face. Now she felt like a good person.

Hoseok and Anna sported a dumbfounded look. Anna looked at hoseok worriedly, which hoseok saw.

"Ahahahaha....It seems like i got stood up."

"That's so weird and very fishy... but yeah you got stood up. At least she was nice about it?

Hoseok laughed with an embarrassed look on his face while Anna worriedly stared at her bestfriend slash childhood friend slash crush's face trying to read him, but she can't seem to find any other reaction from his face aside from his embarrassed reaction earlier.

She was not sure if Hoseok is just hiding it well, should she take this opportunity to console his stood up heart?.

Kidding as if she had the courage for that...
