Richard sat in his room seething after downing several glasses of milk to calm the hotness in his mouth. He was still hungry because he couldn't eat the evil pizza. He had no food in the house and the girl had gone to get groceries.
He didn't even check the list to see what she was buying, a little part of him was afraid of her. He was never afraid of anyone, much less a girl. It annoyed him that she was able to elicit such an emotion from him.
As much as he disliked her, he was intrigued. He was going to break her spirit and he wondered how long she would last.
The rumble of his stomach broke his train of thought. He needed to eat but he couldn't wait till dinner. He believed that the girl might actually poison him, so he dressed up to go to a restaurant to eat.
He never believed a day would come where he would be running away from his own home, his only consolation was the revenge plan he had put in place. He wished he could be there to see her face when everything went down, he just had to wait for her return.
Skylar drove the car given to her for running errands. She was a bit confused; first, he gave her more than enough money for groceries without even looking at the grocery list and he also gave her a car to use. Then, he told her to go to a specific mall which was quite far away when there was one a few blocks from the mansion.
She arrived at the mall and began her shopping. She had so much to buy that her basket was full by the time she was almost done. She had spent two hours shopping when she remembered she hadn't eaten, so she hurried up.
She dragged her trolley and headed to the cashier but before she could get there, someone ran into her and she fell. The trolley fell on top of her and her items spilled all over the mall. She heard the sound of a camera being clicked.
She had never felt so embarrassed before, people were laughing and no one actually bothered to help her. She spent another hour picking up the items she could find. She had to go through all the items to check what was missing so she could pick up a replacement.
After successfully paying for the grocery, she tried to step out of the mall but the alarm started blaring.
"Hey miss, please come with me," A mall cop requested. Skylar was so confused, she paid for everything she bought.
"I don't understand, I paid for everything, here's my receipt," she explained as she handed the piece of paper to the mall cop.
He collected her bags and led her to a room to wait. She had waited for thirty agonizing minutes when she found out she was locked in. She banged on the door continuously but no one answered. She was so hungry that her eyes were getting heavy, she felt very weak so she sat down and slept.
She didn't know how much time had passed when she heard someone enter the room.
"Can I leave now?" she asked weakly.
"In a minute, the cashier didn't take payment for one of your items. Once you pay, you're free to go," the mall cop explained.
Skylar felt she must be full of bad luck. First she had to live with the devil, then the incidents. She was also sure she might soon die of hunger.
She made the payments and loaded her heavy bags into the car. She had only driven half of the way when the car started slowing down till it coughed its last.
"What? the car broke down? how can this be happening?" she screamed and punched the steering wheel.
"This is not possible, Richard just gave me the car this..." she stopped as if something just occurred to her. "No, no way. He couldn't have done this. I'll kill him with my bare hands and send his stuffed body to the museum!"
Skylar you can't be thinking of murdering the handsome devil haha. Richard you better run for your life.
