DEBTS OF GRATITUDE

"Have my Superman and my Princess Elsa been a good kids?"

"Yes mummy. Cess played with us," Gypsy said as she rested her head on her mum's shoulder.

Lupe was a minor employee in the media when she met Cess. She was walking in the park when she saw a woman collapsing. People were ignoring and avoiding her like plague.

She ran towards the person that had fallen and was unconscious. She didn't know what to do so she called the paramedics who were swift to arrive and they took her to hospital.

The doctor clearly stated that Cess was suffering from malnutrition. It seems like she was neglected and she neglected herself. Lupe felt pity for the woman. She paid her bills, gave her food and after hospital, Lupe welcomed her to her house and gave her place to sleep. No, Lupe gave her a home.

In gratitude, Cess became the nanny to the babies. She adored them. When the little angels were an year old, Gypsy became sick. She had a blood condition and she needed blood donation. The little girl's blood group was B–.

It was a rare type of blood group. The hospitals blood bank didn't have that kind blood. They looked for donors, but still no B–. That was when Cess came out and said that her blood group was B–. She donated her blood to the little girl.

In a way, both Lupe and Cess were united with one common factor, debts of gratitude.
