Don't Judge Me!

The foul stench of blood assailed the air. The walls were an apalling sight as blood and gore painted it's exterior with the unnerving mark of death.

A man was seated on the corner of the blood bathed room. His well defined feautures, sculpted by the gods was without any emotion, yet it brought forth an oppressing force, unscathed by his usual mischievous and playful facade.

He didn't have much reaction to his surrounding as his nails tapped lightly on the armrest of his chair.

While engulfed with silence and a sense of isolation, a thick aura of killing intent was surging like a tidal wave from his body. Hence, reflected by the room's spine chilling coldness.

His eyes that were closed a moment ago, opened, revealing a dark red colored Iris, constricting with rage.

Useless...All of them are useless!

He waited a very long time for this moment but all his plans was already in the dregs!

A decade worth of accumulated magic power had gone to waste just like that!

The rage burning in his heart couldn't be suppressed by his unstable rationality. He was on the verge of annihilating everything in sight, leaving everything in tatters.

His face was completely contorted with rage as he clenched his hand underneath his sleaves, adorned with thorned roses.

A sinister smile eventually presented itself in the man's beguiling feautures.

He pondered on how he should make her suffer to the point of even wanting to kill herself

Neither less, he would make sure that she wouldn't even have an intact body after having a taste of her.

'I'm sure her taste would be even more delectable than the finest delicacies... "

He chuckled. The room became even more frosted as a thin layer of ice formed underneath his feet.

Vapor formed with each of his deep breaths, blocking his eyes , glinting with a peircing light.

"Just wait my dear. I will make sure to properly take care of you"

Imaginary sweat trickled down Luke's Barks as he felt his entire body stiffen.

He was in the middle of doing his new-found chore, collecting the abominable lumps scattered all around his surrounding and burying them.

But he wasn't couldn't even bring himself to focus on his task with the level of awkwardness he was feeling.

Luke felt as if he was a rare beast in an auction. The burning gaze emenating infront of him was just too sharp that he didn't dare confront with his own.

As a handsome specimen of a man himself. He had his fair share of people gawking at him with their mouths agape. They would even scream as if they're giving birth to boulders even if he was just breathing air.

However, he didn't feel any pleasure or enjoyment at being stared at right now. After all, he was no longer a hot guy but a tree with rough barks and balding branches to be insecured about.

He felt like a naked person on the streets, bearing everyone's judging gazes.

His vision trailed off to the woman upfront and and he saw her still staring at him in curiosity while pinching her nose with his hands.

"....."

It wasn't him who stunk okay!

Speaking of the foul cow, it seemed to be upset for the last time as it continued to sulk behind him.

Luke sighed dejectedly inside.

He was surrounded by a bunch of weirdos ah!

He of course hadn't taken for account his past behavior when he thought of this.

Alina was currently observing the tree in front of her, rekindling something she hasn't felt for a while, curiosity.

Her body was still in recovery. However, her wounds had already started to scab all over when she used the meagre remaining amount of mana in her body to imply healing magic on herself.

She wasn't able to do much, now that she was still recovering. So she spent most of her time pondering and observing the strange tree in front of her with inquisitive eyes while she leaned against an ordinary one opposite to it.

She had once thought that she had a grasp of pretty much everything concerning magical phenomenon and creatures roaming these vast lands however the tree infront of her was a proof enough that she was wrong.

Trees were supposed to be incapable of hosting a soul. Even if land sorounding the Agaris kingdom was a place filled with unfathomed things. It was still common sense that trees doesn't have life, with the exception of the illusionary beasts that disguises themselves as one.

Questions filled Alinas thoughts to the brim

Why does it have it's own consciousness?

How was it able to know human language?

And what's with the farting noises coming from behind him?!

The air started to become more pulluted by the foul smell that pinching her nose wasn't enough to prevent the gloriously apalling stench from invading her nose.

She started to feel sick and nauseated but her face appeared steady without the slightest sign of discomfort.

Moments later, an even more foul stench reached her. Following which, a decomposing body of an unknown beast fell from the sky with worms burrowing in and out of its mangled corpse.

Alina wasn't given much time to react when roots excitedly sprung up to it and enveloped it's belly. It was lifted in the air and thrown into the hole where she saw the strange tree dump feces earlier.

A dam seemed to burst inside her as bile found itself out of her mouth.

Luke: "....."
