Jessie and Ken met after Ken went home to change into proper clothes. Yung mukhang nagaapply nga ng trabaho.
Hinihingal itong pumasok sa kanilang tagpuan.
"Babe...kanina ka pa? Sorry ah...may nakita kasi ako sa kanto na pwedeng applyan..." Ken explained as he went to the table where Jessie was sitting.
"Ok lang. Di naman ako nagmamadali...kelan ka mageenroll? malapit na enrollment sa school niyo ah"
"Ako na bahala magenroll magisa. Wala ka bang tiwala sakin?" Ken said trying to act hurt
"No...it's not that---"
"Oh yun naman pala...kaya hayaan mo na ko" He said as he cut off Jessie
"Ok. Sorry..." Jessie replied submissively
Sandali lang ang naging tagpuan nila lalo na at nakuha naman na niya ang pakay niya kay Jessie at dahil tumawag na si Heidi.
"Ay babe tumawag na si mommy eh...uwi na daw ako...aalis daw sila ni dad at wala daw kasama mga kapatid ko sa bahay..." Pagsisinungaling ni Ken
"Ah ganun ba...sige sige ingat...pakamusta nalang ako kina tita...bye"
Both of them left and went on their ways.
Days passed by and it's like nothing happened that night at the bar. Jessie worked harder, thus, she never had time to check into Ken's alibis.
Everything is going well between them, until one day, she had the time to open her social media. She then remembered that she could access Ken's account, so she opened it due to instinct.
At dahil hindi naman uso magpaload kay Ken, messenger ang lagi nitong gamit.
Jessie then saw all his conversations with Heidi. All of his alibis sunk into her mind. Naalala niya lahat ng mga palusot nito na kesyo may job interview, may utos mama niya, papa niya, at pati lola niya dinamay pa niya, o kaya naman kailangan ng tulong ng kapatid niya and so on. She felt betrayed, hurt, empty and mad. Mad at Ken and Heidi, but most especially to herself. How could she not have noticed? How can she be so naive? How can she be so damn stupid?
She knew...she knew all his plans, motives at lahat lahat ng kalokohan ni Ken. Pero pinili parin niyang magpaka tanga.
