Eisen didn't know what he was supposed to say; obviously he wasn't going to get rid of them just because they weren't able to help. Things like their past xenophobia couldn't go on forever, and as long as they actively tried to unlearn this, there was no reason for Eisen to try and 'get rid' of them.
