Flying insects actually become even more annoying when you stop time. Suddenly, you have these indestructible, tiny, levitating obstacles. Imagine going for a short walk and then breaking your leg because you smashed it into a mosquito. All that momentum, with such a tiny contact point, is extremely dangerous.
