A few seconds later, any traces of Shi Li and Shi Xingwan within Shi Xingwan's room was gone, both of them heading towards the gate of the Shi clan that served as the entrance and exit for clan members.

Thanks to Shi Li breaking through the Martial Adept stage, which gave him the power to control inner force that came from his bones, he was able to infuse this inner force into his movement technique, allowing him to move faster than when he was a Martial Novice.

Then again, when comparing his current maximum speed to his father, who was already at the Half-Martial Lord realm, which allowed him to muster liquid qi which could superbly boost the efficacy of such movement techniques, then it was not a big improvement. Thankfully, his father did not use his full speed at all, deciding to only move at the same speed as his son.

Although Shi Li was quite excited to finally go out with his father, it was only now did Shi Li truly understand what his father said. Accompanying his father was just something his father out of whim, he knew that his father's goal was to obtain the Seal Breaker Pills.

"Father, although I've read up on multiple books in the clan library, allowing me to even know every nook and cranny of our Verdant Breeze Town, I still haven't heard or read up of a Seal Breaker Pill anywhere," Shi Li could not help but look at father as they continued to dash towards the gate.

"What is a Seal Breaker Pill exactly?"

"Well, it won't harm you for knowing more knowledge." Shi Xingwan thought about it for a bit before deciding to tell his son about it. "You do know the first three realms, as well as the buffer realm between the second and third realm, right?"

"Martial Beginner, Martial Master, and Martial Lord, right?" Shi Li nodded towards his father's question. "As for the buffer realm, it's the realm you're in, Half-Martial Lord realm, right?"

"Yep, that's correct," Shi Xingwan nodded. "The Seal Breaker Pill is an extremely rare Grade 2 cultivation pill. In other words, it's a cultivation pill meant to be consumed by Martial Masters. In fact…you can actually think of this Seal Breaker Pill as a quasi-Grade 3 cultivation pill due to its heaven-defying effect for Martial Masters."

Ringing the bell placed on the L-shaped counter, the two of them waited for a bit before hearing a mature man's voice from the storage room behind the counter, slightly chuckling. "Ohoho, if it isn't the patriarch and the young master! What can this old man do for you?"

As for the two on the other side of the counter, the two of them could only bow respectfully as Shi Xingwan initiated the conversation with a light smile. "Elder Yan, good news. My son is fine with you being his master."

"Oh?" In an instant, Elder Yan's eyes slightly widened as a smile beamed upon his face as he lightly laughed. "Haha, that's great! With that, our chances of actually affecting the tournament set up by the Huang clan have increased!"

Looking at the composed Shi Li by Shi Xingwan's side, Elder Yan could not help but ask, "So…did you come to the Logistics Hall so you can drop him off for me to train him?"

"Quite the opposite, actually." Shi Xingwan awkwardly smiled. "Although I'm quite eager to let my son start learning under your tutelage right now, he wanted to come with me outside the clan to buy a Seal Breaker Pill."

"I definitely will." Shi Xingwan nodded with a smile. Shi Xingwan then turned around as he started to walk out of the Logistics Hall. "Then, if you may excuse us Elder."

As for Shi Li, he looked at Elder Yan for a bit before bowing, then turning around to follow behind his father's footsteps.

Looking at Shi Li's back for a bit, Elder Yan could not help but smile.

"With the young lady's bloodline being awakened by me in his body, it would definitely be considered a joke if he couldn't even fight against those of a small realm higher than him."

Since Verdant Breeze Town was only a modestly sized town when compared to the other towns littered all across the Azure Dusk Continent, it only took both Shi Xingwan and Shi Li around half an hour to traverse the distance needed to reach the Red Dawn Pavilion.

"Here we are, the Red Dawn Pavilion." Shi Xingwan took a deep breath as he glanced at the exterior of the Red Dawn Pavilion for a bit. As for Shi Li, he was quite entranced by the exquisite design of the Red Dawn Pavilion, although it was only a branch at a town level.

Even though it was only a branch of the town level, they did not dare skimp out on their extravagance, occupying an area that was around half the size of the area one of three great clans would occupy. And also, although their name had the word Pavilion on it, it was actually a red pagoda that spanned three floors at most.

As they took a few steps inside the Pavilion, they were instantly greeted by shelves upon shelves of pill bottles, wherein each pill bottle held a single pill that seemed like emitted a faint yet enchanting light. Under each pill bottle was the name of the pill, as well as the price of said pill.

At this moment in time, Shi Xingwan held Shi Li's hand in fear of losing his son along the way. Although he knew very well that Shi Li was already near the age of maturity, due to the sheer number of people inside the pavilion at this time thanks to the buzz that was the Seal Breaker Pill, it was not rare for someone like Shi Li, who had just entered the Pavilion for the first time, to get lost.

Within the span of a few minutes, they were able to reach the second floor of the Pavilion, where the pills shown on the shelves were more exquisite than those on the first floor, as well as the number of people on this floor being less compared to that on the first floor. Slowly making their way towards the place where many of the people on this floor were congregated, which Shi Xingwan had a hunch was the place where the Seal Breaker Pill was being sold, Shi Xingwan was stopped midway by a father and son couple that was not unfamiliar to him at all, making him frown slightly at the sheer coincidence of this situation.

"Oh? If it isn't the Shi clan patriarch and his son." A mocking voice could be heard resounding throughout the second floor of the Pavilion. Nonetheless, only a few people paid attention to this, deciding to focus their sights on the Seal Breaker Pill.

With almost everything he wore being yellow, it was none other than the Huang clan patriarch, Huang Tiankong, who spoke out. As for his son, he also wore a yellow robe, but rather than all of his facial features being yellow just like his father, it was instead replaced by a jet-black color, from his hair to his irises, complementing the yellow robe he wore.

"Huang Tiankong, why are you barring me from buying the Seal Breaker Pill?" Shi Xingwan could not help but frown as he asked.

"Heh? Who says I'm barring you? Do you see me going out of my way to block you? No, right?" With a mocking smile on his face, Huang Tiankong replied.

"If that's the case, then please move out of the way and let me through." A serious look covering his face, Shi Xingwan answered this to Huang Tiankong's question.

"And what if I say no?" Huang Tiankong seemed to be targeting Shi Xingwan.

"Then, you leave me no choice but to duel with you." A glint flashing in his eyes, Shi Xingwan squinted his eyes, a faint killing intent emanating from his body.
