The afternoon turned into night as the Deity of Soul Sacrifice's capture of his creation, the Night Goddess, continued even after several days she escaped.

Battles between immortals of similar strengths could last long. It could be days, weeks, months, or even years before their battles concluded. The same applied to even higher beings such as Gods and Deities.
