"Beautiful Creature"

"Nothing in the universe can stop you from letting go and starting over"

-Guy finley

I felt the joy of spring sprouting within me. Everything was beautiful. I knew it. Everything will be okay in the end, if it was not okay; it was never the end for me. I was able to score good grades and was selected to go abroad for further studies. Being the only child and never having the experience of being far away from home, it scared me.

Without having the single experience of doing things by myself, I couldn't imagine anything. What scared me the most was the thought of being lost and alone with the new beginning. And I knew everything will be starting soon. With bang on my door, it brought be back to reality. I hurriedly finished my bathroom business and prepared myself for the day. What happened next was indeed the beginning of everything to me.

The design of the college building was quite simple; it's a four-walled structure with a pentagonal turret at each corner. The entrance to the tower was via a drawbridge – just like you see in old castles. It was literally surrounded by large trees and small bushes. Birds were chirping everywhere and people were swarming like bees. I could smell the moist earth and fresh dew on the leaves.

It was just too beautiful to be true.

Everything was perfect. The ambiance was relaxing. A turquoise-blue man-made stream wounded around the corner of the building. And it Babbling and burbling, it sprung over the limestone rocks in its way. Pebbles whisked about in the under wash like pieces of glitter. Streams are the liquid soul of the forest, and this one was glowing. Chords of soft light speared down from above, bathing its surface in gold. It was glinting with little sparkles, like a thousand diamonds blessed with an inner fire. It was amazing.

Everything started smoothly. I was introduced to other seniors and student. And was orientated about the field I was pursuing in. After sometimes with no close friends around, boredom crept beneath my skin. I felt restless and couldn't concentrate until those eyes met me.

The eyes as rich as the earth's soil; stained with the color of hot chocolate on a cold, winter night that wraps around you like a blanket; engulfs you in its warmth and makes you feel at home. Those deep pools of dark-cinnamon swirls seized the depth and heaviness of one thousand untold stories, which imprisoned the sweetness of saccharine chocolate and the bitterness of strong coffee. And they consisted of raw emotion and if you observe closely, they will reveal to you the exact perfectness.

On the other side of all that… his brown-mahogany orbs scintillated with a mischievous glint that could be noticed next to the umber that rimmed his iris. They glowed with humor and playfulness. Nevertheless, his eyes held that curiosity and comfort that welcomed me. But there was that weird feeling that behind those comfort laid a lonely boy. That boy who wanted to someone reach to him and pull him towards the light.

I was indeed lost on that oasis that I failed to recover my senses. Fortunately after much gawking I came back to reality. He was a final year student and my senior. He was tall and muscularly lean with a fit physique. He had a blonde buff hair that seems to swirl around with the wind. I specifically remember those freckles around his nose hidden perfectly by those spectacles. I can't say that he is the epitome for perfect but he is and will always be the distinction to me.

" Maybe its the providence of the Universe

It just had to be that

U know, I know,

You are me and I am you "
