She looked terrified.
"It's ok. We're not going to hurt you." I said as soothingly as I could.
"That's right." Carolinia said, still a little shocked. "We heard your cries and came to help."
The fairy looked skeptical at first, but she didn't have any other options at the moment.
"Ok." I said happily. "Let's get you to my house and fix up that wing."
I picked her up gently and cradled her in both hands.
"W-wait! Hold on. Do you even know how to fix a broken wing?" Carolinia asked.
"Relax. All it needs is some antiseptic and a bandaid. It'll be good as new. "
"Celeste, I don't think it's that simple."
"I'm a certified fairy medical doctor, FMD for short. I know what I'm doing. "
Carolinia rolled her eyes as we made our way to my house.
