Looking at the gorgeous lady walking the aisle, everyone's eyes were all focused and captivated with her beauty except for one person who thought that she already managed to destroy her psyche.
Seeing Zoey graciously walking, she instantly froze and was dumbfounded. She never expected to see her here again.
The news that she went abroad after they graduated high school served as her victory in taking everything she loves.
Her nails were all digging her flesh on her palm when she saw her boyfriend's joyful face looking at his ex. Now she knew the reason for his cold interactions with her.
Jealously engulfed her heart as she saw everyone's gaze on Zoey. Lads were all captivated while lasses were all envious of the beauty she owns.
Was she the only one that got informed when God spread the spirit of attractiveness into this world? Why haven't they heard about it? Why did she collect all the perfect features to herself?
Everyone that Zoey walked past through saw her most unusual mole. Some girl wanted to have a tattoo same as her to at least have something like her.
Reaching the altar Zoey stood beside Nickel and after she settled, came Shane as the main attraction of the ceremony.
Leo's eyes could not control the emotions building within him, as his tears fell from his eyes. Nickel patted his back again after seeing his best friend's reaction.
At last, after a long way, he would manage to make his dream girl his wife after this.
When Shane saw the teary eyes of her soon-to-wed husband, her lips started to curve up. As the father and daughter showed up in the altar, the father held his daughter's hand firmly while gesturing for the groom to reach his daughter's hand from his hold. Soon after that, the ceremony started.
The best man and the maid of honor are both assisting the wedded couple as they helped each other in placing the ceremonial stuff for the bride and groom.
The priest then announced that Shane and Leo were now officially Mr. and Mrs. Cortez. Everyone applauded and cheered as the couple kissed in front of them.
Zoey, Sweet, and Lisa could not hold their tears as they were emotional and very happy for their friend. Seeing the crying woman beside him, Nickel offered his sleeves to Zoey for her to wipe her tears out. Alfie would also have liked to go to
Zoey to offer his handkerchief, but his new friend got in before him. Zoey didn't saw him either as she took the offered sleeves or wiped her tears from the corner of her eyes.
Thereafter the ceremony got over and the guests went to the reception hall. Each family and group gathered on the table after the other. The banquet was served as the guests filled in the hall.

Zoey went outside to have fresh air when suddenly a familiar voice entered her ears.
"Nice to see you again Zoey." Based on the voice she heard it was definitely her ex-boyfriend speaking. Zoey didn't mind his presence as she didn't look at him.
Michael tried to offer her champagne, but she didn't even bat an eye to him. Trying his luck again, Michael started a conversation.
"So how is it like to live abroad?"
"..."
"Was it hard? Like you have to prepare everything on your own?"
"..."
"Does anyone bully you there?"
"..."
Whatever he asked she didn't utter any word to him.
"Zoey, I know that I'm an asshole for cheating behind your back. But can you please give me another chance? I promise that this will be the last chance for me. I will never lose it again." Michael determined to make Zoey his woman again. He asked her permission if it is okay for him to get her back after all these years.
"I'm sorry I'm not interested," Zoey answered him back.
Seeing her emotionless face, Michael tried to beg her but words got stuck in his throat.

Hearing his voice again, made Zoey remember all the bullshit she experienced when they were together. She regretted going out alone, forgetting that there was a big possibility for her to bump either him or America.
She wanted to walk out of the scene, but it will only show that she hasn't moved on yet. So 'nah for that.
Zoey then continued looking at the scenery outside as if no one was standing beside her.
"So how is it like to live abroad?" If you like to know why you don't try to live abroad? Try to go to Timbuktu for a chance or better yet go to another planet, so the world will decrease its asshole population.
"Was it hard? Like you have to prepare everything on your own?" As if you care? What? Feeling close?
"Does anyone bully you there?" You're actually the one who bullied me before and bullying me until now.
Following all the cold shoulders, she was giving him; Michael uttered a speech that she was well off expecting.

She was not interested? Michael felt doomed. Did she move on already? It can't be! He knew that he was her first and ever considered true love. She was just teasing him.
"Not interested? Why do you love someone?" Michael tried to mock her for not having a boyfriend ever since they've broken up.
Zoey then wished for Alfie to appear beside her and pretend to be her boyfriend or someone she likes just to face slap this guy talking to her. Stalling the conversation, Zoey answered back. "Yes, I do have someone already. So stop dreaming that you're the only guy in this world."
"Who is he then??"
Zoey's back was covered with cold sweat after him asking for verification. Where on earth was Alfie when I needed him? Where will she look for a guy that will pretend to be someone for her? She was internally screaming Alfie's name; why it was when she needed him, he was always missing in action.
Zoey's eyes shone when she saw Nickel going out of the hall. She grabbed his hand and said, "Meet my boyfriend! Now it's time for you to back off Michael."
