Synopsis

Another reincarnation cinderella story. Expect this time, it start from her youth and builds. (I will edit this synopsis later and make it more comprehensive. Because I suck at these things unless there's at least 30 chps.)

Chapter 1Prologue

"We'll take her."

"Madam Wu, this girl just recently recovered from a very bad virus. Our orphanage is afraid that she will bring bad luck to you."

"Enough with the nonsense. Mistress Ling has already deemed this girl to be the one to change my family's fortune! Finish the paperwork, and transfer the ownership rights of her to me immediately!" Madam Wu ordered to the orphanage head.

Frightened by the sudden command, Principal Lin replied in a flustered manner, "Yes, yes. Right away. I ask the Madam to wait a moment as I go fetch her."

---------------------------------------------------

"Urgh….my head hurts like hell. What the fu*k happened?" Clutching her head, the girl looked around and took in her surroundings. "Huh? Where am I? And why am I in dressed like this? Wait, it couldn't be…."

Trailing off, she jumped out of the hard and lumpy bed and ran to the mirror at the door. Looking at the reflection in the mirror, she discovered a completely new face and person. Delicate features and and a youthful face stared back at her. Most importantly, this face was that of a five year olds'. How young, she thought.

"Wait. How did I enter this body? Don't the transmigration novels usually start with a pre-teen or new-born baby? Why am I in a five year olds'? I really got the short end of the stick, didn't I. But the girl does have good features. Will defs be a great beauty when she grows up. Wait, this is me now, so I WILL be beautiful. He he he….."

Laughing somewhat hysterically in glee, she began to twirl around in front of the mirror; [admiring studying her new body.

As she was 'studying' her body, the door suddenly slammed opened, revealing a slim man. He looked about fifty.

Seeing her up and about, Principal Lin felt relieved. "There you are Ziyan. Good, seems like you're feeling much better now." As he said this, Principal Lin grabbed her hand and dragged Ziyan out of the room with him.

"Hey wait-"

"Stop squirming and follow me Ziyan. There is a very nice lady who is willingly to adopt you. Behave and act appropriately when you meet her."

"Wai-what?" Ziyan paused mid-sentence.

[So this is girl is called Ziyan and an orphan? How tragic, and so clichè. Typical story troupe; poor orphan girl dies, gets replaced, adopted by rich-evil step-mum and then finds her prince. Then happily ever after, blah, blah, blah.]

Ziyan stopped to look up at the old man who was dragging her with him. Skinny, wrinkly and balding. Furthermore, the dishevelled clothes only served to further strengthen his villain look.

Sighing internally, Ziyan made an oath.

[Ziyan, I don't know how you were treated for the this brief time you were alive, but I promise that I will live your life to the fullest and not allow you to suffer. Since I have been reborn, I will only be Ziyan and never mention my past identity again. I think that is the least I can do, to give you some peace. Plus I want to show the world that, not every female reincarnations need a powerful man to rely on!]

Hey guys~!

So this is my very first novel that I am writing and actually publishing. I am still experimenting and learning from this experience. Hopefully I will learn and grow from this experience.

This novel will be loosely base upon the cinderella troupe, but with a few twists of my own. The FMC will not be overly calculative, bewitching, stunning or the like. She's not going to be a Tangning, or a Ning Xi. She will slightly more down to earth as she can be without destroying the interesting elements of the story. I will try to make my novel a blend of both realistic and unrealistic elements. Of course you need the unrealistic elements to keep the story spicy.

Please give this novel any extra love you can spare and just keep up with the updates. I will try my best to make it somewhat regular. Also, please feel free to give any advice and constructive criticism you feel will improve the storyline. (No unnecessary hate plz) If you also give interesting plot arcs, I may also incorporate them into the story as well. You may also be given the opportunity to name characters as well.

In all, please read my novel and enjoy my story I will be bringing to you guys.

Transmigrated as the Ex-Wife of a Heroic Man

Su Wen read a popular period novel about a heroic man who was tough, gave women a sense of security, and was also somewhat cunning and flirty. He was exactly the kind of man she liked. Hence, she paid one million in subscription fees and transmigrated as the male lead's terrible ex-wife. In the novel, the original host was someone who waited at home for love to come knocking on the door. Although she never thought about starting a family, she was a hopeless romantic. Even when the male lead, Jin Datui, eventually showed up, she was persuaded by the sly female lead to fall for a jerk in the nearby village. After Su Wen transmigrated into the novel, she clung to Jin Datui. She worked hard to go from rags to riches. In the end, her younger sisters all became jealous. They cried about wanting to meet a man by waiting at home, just like she did. They even claimed they would name their children with her surname if they had children. Hence, Su Wen began choosing suitable husbands for her sisters. All the candidates were handsome, talented, and well-built. They all came from influential families too. It was so hard to choose! A certain someone, who felt neglected in the corner, pinned her against the door. "Are they as handsome as I am? Are they as well-built as I am? Are their families as influential as mine?" "But... They're my sisters' potential husbands," Su Wen said. "I belong to you. You can have my savings and even my life," he replied. Su Wen woke up the next day to find twenty bank books by her side. She became deep in thought...
