 Selim watched as the nanite armour on his body disappeared and went inside [Earth Lord] Leon's body.

After his evolution, Hayato's power changed from [Nanobots] to [Nanites]. These new machines were stronger, smarter and smaller than their previous counterparts.

Along with this evolution, Hayato gained new powers. For example, now he could materialise the nanites outside his body to build constructs.

The plasma cannons from before was an example of that. These constructs had different applications. First of all, he had to have a corresponding blueprint to make them.

Basically, he just couldn't imagine a world-destroying weapon and just make it with his nanites.

No first of all he had to design the blueprint in his mind and see if it would actually work. Basically, his profession changed from a hacker to engineer.
