Ye Yingyue carried the plate and carefully walked into the room. The room was dark, without any light. The window was closed, and so were the curtains.

The room was simply furnished, with a hospital bed, a table, a chair, and a cabinet.

A man was huddled on the bed. Even though he had curled his body, he still occupied a large space. It seemed that he was rather tall and strong.

Ye Yingyue gently placed the plate on the table, then turned and looked at the man on the bed, slightly pushing up her glasses. With a soft voice, she said, "Eat the food while it's still hot. It'll taste bad when it gets cold. I'll come back for the plate in an hour."

Having finished speaking, she gently walked out of the room and closed the door.
