"The patient in room 111 needs to be attended to urgently, get doctor Rome and Thompson down here immediately." A loud voice echoed through the hospital hallway with hurried steps.

Rapid steps and sounds filled the second hallway of K's Hospital, " Also get Doctor Aurora to come down, a pregnant woman had just been brought into the hospital. Prepare for delivery and surgery" The voice of the impatient doctor continued ringing down the hallway of the hospital, his brows were creased into a frown that looked unfit on his face.

"Yes doctor" The nurses immediately nodded and ran towards various elevators on the floor, others ran into the medicine room and began preparing for the surgeries to take place. Panic and fear, worries, and nervousness filled the hall.

An unexpected accident occurred in the center of Toronto, Canada. Various people were injured, a few fell into the sea, and others dead, the few that managed to escape were immediately brought to the hospital.

----- Hours Later -----

The panic in the hospital had been put at ease, the hall turned calm and quiet except for the occasional wails of those who lost their family members, friends, or even enemies.

The nurses at the front desk heaved heavy sighs of relief now and then, they were especially glad the ordeal was over.

The joy of the nurses and doctors was shortlived when the shrill scream of a woman being pushed into the hospital sounded, her round big, and visibly heavy tummy shaking underneath the maternity she wore. The nurses rushed over to see what was happening outside.

"Ma'am you have to calm down, take in a deep breath and release it afterward. You will be alright ma'am" A nurse tried to calm her down from her shrill cries.

The woman raised her head and gazed at the nurses with bloodshot eyes, the gentle rubs on her body did little to nothing to ease her pains. "What are you all waiting for? Get her into the ICU at this moment" A cold voice rang through the hall.

The soft heels of the doctor made sounds as he rushed towards the ICU while hurriedly buttoning up his coat, his damp hair revealed he ran here straight from the shower. He clicked his tongue in anger, if he wasn't owing that particular person a favor then he would have never rushed to the hospital like this. That too in the middle of the night.

Loud wailings of a baby rang inside the ICU, indicating his happiness of having been born into the world. Beside him was placed another baby stifling cries and choking back on her tears, although she was just born she behaved like she was gracing the earth with her presence.

"Head nurse Zora, take the lead from here. Send the baby girl into the incubator she can't breathe on her property, clean up properly and make sure the kids are safe" The doctor ordered gazing at the face of the sleeping mother on the bed, he sighed softly before turning to walking out of the ICU.

After the doctor left, the head maid called in a young nurse to look after the mother and the child after cleaning them up and transferring the mother and child to the ward.

And immediately rusted to place the delicate baby in her hands in the incubator as the doctor ordered. "Look after the child before the mother wakes up" She muttered and then walked out.

Gazing at the woman on the bed, the young nurse shook her head in pity for the woman. She knew the woman would feel sad after knowing her daughter didn't make it.

As the head nurse hurried to the incubator room, she missed a step and immediately stumbled losing her hold on the baby, long arms stretched out and held onto the young child before it could hit the ground. " Be careful with the way you handle a child, the child could have died just now" The man remarked gazing at the little pickle in his arms.

"Thank you so much Mr. For saving the baby, I have to go now please give the child baby to me" The head nurse muttered both in a grateful and embarrassed tone, stretching out her hands.

What looked like a smile stretched on the baby's lips, her tiny hands waved in the air twice before laying back down. The man's gaze was filled with warmth as a smile stressed on his lips, he gently handed the baby over to the head nurse.

The head nurse nodded at him before running off, or else the doctor found her slacking out in her job.

"Little bro, did you just smile? That too at a baby? the almighty icy mountain smiled" Another man looking older than the first teased but the younger snorted and coldly turned away walking out of the hallway toward the elevator.

As soon as the man and his companions left, a group of men and women dressed in completely dark and black clothes walked into the hospital. They went straight to the elevator and pressed on the fourth floor, heading towards a particular room.

The new mother who had just given birth still lay unconscious on the bed, her energy had been drained during childbirth. The little bun stared at the ceiling, blinking his eyes now and then. The nurse smiled wondering and feeling jealous at how beautiful the child was.

A Pak sound echoed before a group of people rushed into the hospital room, and the young nurse stared in fear at them. A woman walked out from the group and knocked the young lady unconscious not giving her any chance to escape or ask for help.

"Take her and the baby, the baby seems healthy so there's no need to worry." The same woman ordered and the others nodded before proceeding to work, the little woman and her baby were immediately taken away from the hospital....

Unbeknownst to the nurses and doctors, a patient was stolen right under their noses.
