War History 101 Part 1 : Lucifer’s Fall

"In the beginning, there was nothing, only a vast expanse of nothingness. Then rose the chaotic waters of creation. These waters go by many names, the Oceans of Darkness, Nun the Sea of Chaos, the Waters of Creation, Khaos, or Yahweh, but most simply call this existence the Creator." Said Khnum.

"Wait did you just say, Yahweh? How can't that be when I spoke to Khaos before my arrival here he spoke of Yahweh as a completely separate being, he even told me he was 'borrowing a page from Yahweh's book', you mean to tell me they're the same being, but how can that be?" Questioned Ílios.

"The same way I am Ra, yet at the same time not, just like how I cycle between 3 aspects, the creator would fluctuate between different chaotic states, and in each of these states he would create life to fill the empty void." Explained Khnum.

"He first came into existence as a mass darkened ocean and in this form gave created the first existences Tiamat and Abzu the Primordial gods of chaos and the seas, and creators of the lands of Mesopotamia. Curious about this phenomenon The creator tried to repeat this occurrence once more, his form would then fluctuate into what my people would call Nun the Sea of Chaos and from this sea rose I and the serpent Apophis."

"Pleased with his work the creator continued this cycle of changing himself and creating life, he would become the Waters of Creation and from out of these waters would rise Vishnu the Preserver atop Sesha the King of Nagas, Then came the change into Khaos who would birth Gaea the Earth Mother, Tartarus the Abyss, Nyx the Night, and Erebus the Darkness, the Primordials of the lands of Greece."

"Satisfied With his creations The Creator went into a short century-long slumber while his creations broke off into their own groups and went their separate ways to create their own worlds and have their own children. Upon Waking The creator found a universe now filled with life, he was pleased with the different lands his children had created, intrigued by these worlds the Creator sought to create one of his own and so created four new children to help him with the task, These children were Michael the Demiurge, Raphael the Healer, Gabriel the Messenger, and Lucifer the Light Bringer."

"With the help of Michael, the Creator fashioned the earth, with Raphael he filled the oceans, with Gabriel he created the skies, and with Lucifer, he filled the cosmos with billions of stars. He then went down to this new land and in a more humanoid shape and created a garden which he named Eden, and in this land created the very first mortal life in the entire universe by moulding dust into his image and breathing life into it, he named this life Adam and from Adam's rib, he fashioned a companion named Eve. He filled the Garden with plants and animals and commanded Adam and Eve to watch over it in the name of Yahweh."

"The creator would then call back all his creations from their corners of the universe wanting to show them this new type of life he had created. Though not all shared the Creator's excitement over these new creations, Lucifer never liked the idea of sharing his father's time and attention, he thought of himself as the favourite son, and classified all none-angel creations of his father as inferior and failed models. He hated me and the other primordial gods but was willing to accept our presence since all of us were beings of equal power to him, but he could not accept the thought of such weak and insignificant creatures such as humans taking his father's time, seeking to prove to the Creator how flawed humanity was, Lucifer disguised himself as a serpent and snuck into the garden whispering into Eve's ears to break Yahweh's one rule. Furious at this betrayal Yahweh cast Adam and Eve out of the garden to never return. Pleased with the outcome Lucifer returned to his father expecting gratitude for showing everyone how flawed humanity was, but all he received was a look of disappointment and sadness from his father, angered that his father was disappointed in him over something's trivial as humans Lucifer flew away in a rage he gathered 6 second-generation angels convincing them that the Creator only had love in his heart for humans and not them, he would then corrupt them with his power changing them from once beautiful and angelic creatures to monsters, these 6 became known as Beelzebub The Gluttony, Leviathan The Envy, Mammon The Greed, Belphegor The Sloth, Asmodeus The Lust, and Sathanas The Wrath. They then retreated into the far edges of the universe and started creating demonic creatures to fill their army and then declared war."

"The Creator then Called all of his creations to arms, and we all answered the call Tiamat and Apsu returning with their children Lahmu and Lahamu, and their grandchildren Anshar and Kishar. I flew into battle atop my sworn enemy Apophis, with the support of my children Tefnut and Shu, and their children Geb and Nut. Vishnu would ride into battle with his counterparts Brahma the Creator and Shiva the Destroyer. The Greek Primordials would come accompanied by their protogenoi offsprings Ouranos, Pontus, Aklhys, Hemera, and Aither."

"We then went into a millennia-long war, neither side able to get the upper hand, though Lucifer and his generals lacked the numbers they made up for it in their tactical genius, the war was long and brutal and the universe itself was breaking apart as if fighting itself until finally, Michael defeated Lucifer in combat stabbing him through the heart with his blade, Michael then brought Lucifer before us all and had him kneel before the Creator."

"At that point, Lucifer had become too powerful to destroy from existence without the Creator having to destroy the universe and having to restart and his 6 general's lives had been tied directly to his making it impossible to truly kill them, so the Creator did the only thing he could think of imprisonment, inspired by Tartarus's true body, he created a hell dimension right beneath the lands of Eden and cast Lucifer and his demons down into it, needing a way to keep the prison secure he commanded the 4 earth gods Gaea, Kishar, Geb and Bhudevi to surround their true earthly bodies together around the hell dimension thus creating what is now known as earth, binding the prison with 4 seals."

"Now Forced to share an earth we each decided to stay in our own corners of the world and build or own Pantheons and even creating our own humans similar to the descendants of Adam and Eve, humans eventually spread all over the world and for some time everything was peaceful, the world flourished and new pantheons of gods even started appearing from the unclaimed lands of the world created by the powers of humans belief and imagination, like the Aesir and Vanir or the gods of Persia. Most of the ancient primordial beings seceded power to the younger generation of gods some willingly like the Hindu Trimurti to Indra and some lost it by force like Ouranos to his son Kronos."

"Everything in the world was fine until one day Kronos, after having just inducted Atlas into his army as general decided that the Titans were now powerful enough to rule the world undisputed and that the other pantheons were to serve him, as the undisputed master of the universe, he sent out his messenger Arke to every pantheon of the world declaring war, and this began the second Divine War otherwise known as the fall of the Mesopotamian gods."

A.N : I just wanna say that in no way do I believe that this is actually the origin of any of these religions/myths so to any of my Hindu or Christian readers, pls do not be offended, I myself am Christian. This was the only way I could think of to make the world of Percy Jackson work, God definitely exists in the Riordan Verse as thor from Magnus chase once challenged Jesus to a fight but the latter didn't show up,It's also mentioned once in the first book how Chiron considers the Olympians a smaller matter than the Christian God so I decided that the must consider him a higher level of God so I made him the origin of everything. As to why I specifically used Summerian, Egyptian, Hindu, and Greek Gods as the first creations it's because those are the oldest recorded religions in the world along with Judaism, so I made them be directly created by Khaos/God/Nun and made the younger mythologies be created by human belief as it's stated in the Riordan Verse that some of the gods might be created by humans tho they're not sure. So yeah this is how I rationalize how the Riordan verse can include literally every pantheon in the world.
