At 25 chapters, it's a bit early to review, but I just want to say that the start is quite promising. The writing is quite good for a web novel, the translation quality is high for this platform, and the story premise isn't overused. The central characters have some psychological depth, particularly the yandere, whose character development also feels just right, neither too slow nor too sudden. The romantic development (between the MC and the other heroine besides the yandere, whom he's still trying to shake off) is quite nice: while the MC is highly focused on making money in order to pay off his family debts without having to sell his freedom to the rich yandere childhood friend, the story also gives enough cute moments between him and the second heroine to satisfy my romantic cravings. The dialogue is, at least for me, highly entertaining. There are some minor flaws here and there, for example the MC seems unable to just straight out tell his mom that he no longer likes the yandere (who acts like a good daughter-in-law with her), which gives the impression that he's a tad spineless, but considering all the circumstances, I personally don't find it too annoying. I really have to say that so far, I've enjoyed this quite a lot.

me gustaAfter over 200 chapters, I'm still highly satisfied. The TL quality occasionally slips, but it's still pretty good overall. The three central characters, particularly the girls, remain fascinating, increasingly deep and likeable. The MC, of course, doesn't have the advantage of being cute, but he charms you with his wisdom, feeling far more mature than most older characters in the typical Chinese web novel. The love triangle is one that has me fervently hoping for a harem ending, because character development has made Mingyue over time much more likeable, and she hasn't been able to get over the MC. I'd really hate to see either girl heartbroken. Although the romance is slow, the MC still remains technically single, there's no shortage of cute and beautiful, impressively well dramatised moments. The overall tone remains light, the drama doesn't feel too heavy, and the comedy has me often laughing in good mood. Honestly, using my free passes and ad unlocks to read a few chapters of this is always one of the highlights of my day. Highly recommended, this is very close to full 5-star stuff.
do you see mc getting together with yandere and get Harem ending because I don't want to read heartbreaks 😭

The author develops and gives spotlight to both girls equally, so the further this goes, the more convinced I am that he's aiming for a harem ending. But I can't be sure.
