It seems like MC still refuses to accept the situation, interesting concept but making MC's plans becomes difficult. it's hard to read this without feeling annoyed and also there are so many names introduced in just 30 ch it's hard to remember most of them

I agree with you that the unwillingness of the mc to fully merge with Yagura is annoying, but the thing about the vast number of people involved seems ok to me, mc is new to this, and just like the reader is overwhelmed about the situation, If you are the head of the village a plethora of important people will try to seek you out especially if there were some unknown changes to sed person.
