me gustaBallad:because realistically R*pe is obvious in HP verse you give a bunch of teenagers the powers to erase the minds and control them I'm more surprised more stories don't have this concept especially considering you have a whole caste system of Nobles who can do whatever they want and get away with it.

Ehh, I think they would be the less likely one, considering they have to make the bloodline pure, and the status they have to protect.
DaoOfCopying:Slytherin's mostly.

lol no why would they even teach that in hog warts it’s never shown why do you think it would take no skill to selectively rewrite someones memories there is a good reason the concept is relegated to poorly thought out fan fiction

they have to keep magic secret, it is very likely they have some easy memory erasure magic just like dxd and fate, also iirc Hermione did manipulate her parents memories in canon, didn't she?

you are right but just because hermine knows something doesn’ mean it’s in the curriculum but now i just think it’s as retarted and half assed as those series

They have specialised obliviators to do that kind of thing, not just anyone can wave their wand and rewrite someone's memory. Hermione could do it, yes, but Hermione was a genius and in her final year at Hogwarts by that point.

I think movie Hermoine used the Fidelius spell to conceal the secret that 'Hermoine Granger is the daughter of So and So Granger' because as soon as the spell took hold, her parents forgot about her and then her existence was removed from her photos and all the other stuff in the house. That's actually the best solution I can think of for her problem.
