Okay. The writing is good way better than the previous standard of trash set by the previous trial reads. It's a beast taming/summoning ish novel where the mc has his chea t. He's not an brain damaged idiot with an inflated sense of justice, some or an annoying character....yet. Also hints of nationalism which in Chinese novels modern setting is basically a packaged deal with racism. It hasn't happened yet (racism) and the nationalism is toned down for now but my experience says it's inevitable. Hopefully I'm wrong otherwise this good novel will be dropped ruined by nationalism and racism.

me gustaReally....then why are they translating it to English and hosting it on websites of other countries. If this is only made for Chinese then they should limit to China especially when it is disgusting to people of other nations. Wait a second........don't tell me webnovel is on a quest to irritate and disgust people of other countries.
its_me_your_boy:this novel was created by chinese for chinese citizen.

So the average norm for Chinese people are being closed mided racists? That is not my opinion. But this is what your comment insinuates in some form or the other. I mean, I have read novel from other countries too, but this type of novle is not a norm it's infact quite frowned upon around the world because it is unseemly to think a race of certain nationalismis better then the others. To confuse nationalism to the point where it has to go hand in hand with racism is quite low... don't you thnk? I love my country, but not to the point where I put it on pedestal and say my country and its people & culture are the best along with pulling down other countries which you're not even much knowledgeable about. It shows how dumb you can get just to make no point at all. Plus, if you're gonna only write it for the Chinese audience why bother contracting someone to translate it in English, your "reasons" are quite baffling don't you think? Anyways, just my thoughts, my opinions is not something that you have to agree with. It's not my book, nor am I reading it or insulting it. You can be say whatever as long as it causes no harm I suppose...
Umm.. not to make it awkward or anything but I was wrote thar comment for the guy who commented that " thiswas written by a Chinese writer for Chinese people?" .. I know most Chinese novel has the trope of being undeniably disrespectful & racists. And unfortunately being like thar sales in China. All I am trying to say is that the reason given by the commentar about why it is racist is dumb. Because it's insinuating that Being Chinese hence rasict. Sorry for my rant. I don't read the whole nationalism equates to racism trope. I usually drop those novels . So in conclusion I should have tagged my comment [img=recommend]
You do understand that your definition of racism and someone born in another country can be different right? So him saying that the novel is written for the readers of a particular culture dose not automatically makes me assume that they are racists. For me, coming from an eastern european country reading about some depiction of racism are not really that over the top.

And that's cool with me. You have your thoughts and I have mine, you don't have to agree with or anything. I am in no way saying it's over the top. I just don't like it and hence my comments. I don't think it came out as aggressive or disrespectful. I haven't said it's not worth reading or don't read it. I just stated I don't like that particular trope.....
