Review Detail of Aiden_Haust in Blood Warlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse

Haven’t had the chance to finish reading this novel (the latest chapter), but I decided to share my thoughts of this marvelous book with y‘all. After reading 300 chapters, I was (and still am) hooked to this book. The worldbuilding is amazing and manages to continue on throughout the novel. Just when you think it’s done, the author manages to throw in a little more information that piques the reader’s interest. It’s also done in a way that makes sense—the background of the world is cohesive and you can tell that the author did not just throw in random things. It’s interwoven into the plot which makes it rather interesting as well. There is quite a bit of “empire-building” so if you like that, definitely read haha. Onto the characters. One of the reasons I found this work an addicting read was the characters. Unlike many apocalyptic novels (especially of the Chinese variety), the characters are not one-dimensional. They are made real and *gasp* have character development. Not all of them, but that is expected since that quite reflects human nature (some people just don’t change). However, because of how attached I am to some of the characters, I wished they could be fleshed out even more (who doesn’t want to know more about their favorite characters), but yeah. Love the characters. Especially the mc and fl. 😎 TLDR: A wondrous novel with intricate worldbuilding, engaging plot and real (sometimes scarily powerful, but hot) characters in an apocalyptic world.
