Not really, I read all the chapters, and the only nationalistic part is pretty much the Chinese people (minor spoiler here, so look away if you care about It) stopping one of the alter world gods invasion plan, by eating all the crayfish they sent to ruin the worlds ecosystem. Gotta say, as an European guy who also finds too much nationalism tedious, that this novel barely has any. And can you even consider “Chinese people eats a lot” nationalism? It’s a great novel, let’s not ruin its chances of getting picked up by picking on every small thing.
