This is easily one of the most enjoyable stories I’ve read in a long time. I love that the MC isn’t overpowered — he can play his absolute best and still lose, yet he still manages to shine in the toughest stadiums. That balance makes him feel real and keeps the stakes meaningful. I’m also really looking forward to seeing more of the mother’s storyline develop, and I hope we get to watch the best friend (Joanne’s brother) grow as well. The dynamic there has a lot of potential. And the MC using TT not just for training but also for studying? Great touch. It adds depth to his character and makes the world feel even richer. Overall, fantastic work — I look forward to seeing where the next part goes.
