After his death, Zane Ke is offered three choices by a higher power: lose his memories and begin again as an ordinary human, retain his memories and be reborn into an anime world, or lose his intellect and reincarnate as an animal.
He doesn’t hesitate. If he loses his memories, he ceases to be himself. As for losing his mind, that isn’t even worth considering. Without a second thought, he chooses to keep his memories and step into a new world.
Only then does he realize his mistake.
Despite being a graduate student, his knowledge of anime is shallow at best. He had never seriously considered how dangerous those worlds could be—until he finds himself thrown into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
What he lacks in foresight, however, he makes up for with something far more dangerous: an obsessive, analytical mind forged through years of academic rigor. To him, curses, techniques, and combat aren’t mysteries—they’re subjects to be studied, broken down, and understood.
“Isn’t it only natural for a graduate student to outperform vocational-level thinking?”
With every encounter, Zane observes, adapts, and dismantles expectations, turning a power-driven world into something he can analyze and exploit. His presence begins to shift the structure of the world itself.
And the most dangerous part is this—
He has no idea how the original story was supposed to unfold.
