Yeah, it was weird. Way I see it though, if a single chapter that wasn't like, out of left field terrible managed to butcher a huge horde of readers, the chapter wasn't the problem.

Sakura's struggling to figure out how she feels about one person, Harem might be a bit off.

There's a side story covering Tenten holding the sword on SV, it's great.

She's working on it. She has plenty of years before they're not kids anymore, after-all. Lots of time to think about it and develop.

A lot of the small penalties the system gives are almost entirely based around natural cause and effect. "Yes Sakura, sitting at home and doing absolutely nothing while a festival occurs and you're eligible, is a very low charm thing to do. I will lower your charm if you do that. Go, have a failed date, experience life, do something." There's very few of them in the story, and most are sarcastic.

One of the few swears I left in. I started filtering out a lot of them later on in edits, I felt it was too crass. They're still there but have more impact in later chapters. I loved writing that scene.

Business Naruto was actually introduced in a side story beforehand. A lot of the side-stories are canon and directly intrude on the story in some way. Unfortunately, they're only on SV, SB, and the paid place. But there's over 40 of them.
