The saying is a person doesn’t know when to keep their mouth shut. Then again, néw phrases come out all the time.
The story’s plot and character development, while at times a bit frustrating, was solid for the first 109 chapters. Pronoun confusion was annoying, but in the whole didn’t cause much confusion. Unfortunately, the final third of the book felt like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book, with whole sections repeating multiple times. It feels that it needs to be edited and revamped for a cleaner, clearer conclusion. Which is really unfortunate, as I had been enjoying it. I finally did have to skip a few chapters at the end, and honestly, don’t feel I missed anything.
