Feels like Alpha was recruited just because Cid did it in cannon. Going the church/ reigous rout is significantly less cool then the original rout one of the best parts of the source material is the way the girls in shadow garden reacted to him. Most believed Cid was greater then a deaty. So having him pose a gods servant is step down from the original MC Cid was the Greatest power in his own universe and he did that thru his own strength. Seems your MC needs to learn a lesson from the OG MC. He will never be able to touch Cids level using borrowed power. And that’s all he is; borrowed power while he acts as a defunct goddess’s servant. OG Cid was %1000 cooler and having Alpha dress as Nun was harrasy

Significantly less cool than the source material; have always wondered how cool eminence would be had cid been more self aware and less focused on being a mob or even a cid that relieses he’s already an eminence in shadow. but the story would lose a lot of its charm and all of its humor that way Having an OC tag along is kind of dumb and just kind of takes away from the story. best parts of eminence are the other characters reactions to him like shadow garden believing he’s this higher being. Having an OC that knows he’s just a chuni and just their to steal Cids thunder by being “Lady Shadow” just kind of takes all the cool out of the story

Couple of red flags in the first chapter: you left the original MC. Usually whenever that is done anything new MC accomplishes feels like he’s stealing from original MC same but the other way for the original MC stealing from who should be this stories MC. Universe can really only support one MC. His wish from the goddess made it appear like he’s going to be overpowered early on. OP MCs get boring really fast cause they don’t have to try at anything which removes the stakes in any fight. And it’s worse cause it’s gifted power and they don’t really earn anything. Often times they become arrogant and it Just makes the whole charecter arc read like plot armor. Which includes any romantic relationships you place them inExcited to see a fanfiction of this source material just hope it goes the right way

This story just made Risers path to power to fast and way way way way to easy. Like playing a game on super easy mode it got boring fast. The relationship progression boiled down to plot armor cause it wasn’t existent. Basically girls love MC cause he’s MC type deal. No effort required this story isn’t for me. I like fiction with more substance nice effort though

Author have you read the source material for this? The Anime may have made it look planned but Rias had no idea who Issei was before the fact. Issei got one of her fliers by chance. She had no idea he had a sacred gear until after she resurrected him. She didn’t plan it ahead of time and she wasn’t desperate for peerage members at this point because she wasn’t aware of the rating game option until after Grayfia told her during her meeting with Riser.

I’ll delete this off my read list now. Spent the last 5 chapters just hoping for the MCs death. Time to move on to another story

MC starts out pretty cool and charismatic. With an original sacred gear. Really starts to fall off 13 or so chapters in for some reason that adds nothing to the story MC becomes a Rapist with an Alpha complex later on that makes him a hard to like douchbag

Yes its shown in multiple times in cannon satans hav hilariously large mountains of paperwork and their really isn’t anything extraordinary about a Longinus user able to beat lowest level cannon fodder

So far he hasn’t handed anything over to the 3 factions that wasn’t already replicated in cannon. The Khaos Brigade manufactured artificial Phoenix tears and had been selling them on the black market for a while for funding purposes. If Azezal looked they’d probably be there now. Nobody freaked out about it then it wasn’t even a plot point till later on when they kidnapped Ravel. Think your over playing this alchemist reaction a bit to much.

The alchemist that hasn’t really done anything significant? The one that when given the opportunity refused to join her faction? She goes to parent teacher conferences cáuse she’s a siscon highly doubt anything is as important to her as Sona

Why would Serafall the Satan in charge of foreign affairs catch a stray Devil for random unifiliated human? She showed up last chapter to thank him for protecting himself from so low level grunts who are barely low class in strength. She must have literally nothing to do

He should essentially just be power gaming and building up harem members at this point. In the end that’s what will help him the most.

I liked this story better before MC started trying to become powerful on his own. A lot of focus on the unnecessary. He should have just built a strong harem and slept them do the grunt work.

For all the effort Ethan took to go to school it had hurt his progress more then helped him. He had this big obsession in the beginning with going to the academy he would hav been farther along haf he just become an adventure

MC is kind of an evil sociopath he’d have trouble working with angels I think
