No they are “under” the overlords amd would grow to/surpass the overlords like the Demon Kings Ascendant is still a “weakling” who just entered the sect… the Return of the Strongest SSS Hero should already have been strong and returned to action and is likely on good terms or a rival to the Hero Empress, Necromancer back from Hell should be someone who wants vengeance for a wrong in their youth working with or against the Lord of the Dead and the Fallen Priestess should either mean she is just plain crazy after being “broken”(possibly family slaughtered by Necromancers) or she went against the “faith” due to betrayal or corruption…

Not to mention the cultural and land mark distinctions unique to each region which would be another potential dividing point for calling them seperate “continents” such as the case for Europe and Asia specifically…

What do you call Europe, Asia and Aftica then? Or South and North America? Those are all continents… so who is to say the territories of the 4 Overlords aren’t based on something similar to the tectonic plates that deterine that by creating massive mountain ranges or vast oceans dividing territories naturally?

Well obviously he doesn’t see the little thing as human and doesn’t want to stay here long term so he also somewhat is disassociating… not to mention his cheeks still hurt and she is prodding at them again… besides its not like mc wanted something humanoid that could cause trouble if seen but he got her and she has no ability to help nor properly communicate suddenly as a “reward”. Could it be useful later? Maybe. Is he guaranteed to survive long enough in his view? No he isn’t and this doesn’t help his odds at all… so yeah, he feels salty and doesn’t see them as a person or even an actual baby due to looks and directly told them not to constantly poke his cheeks…

He isn’t, but he atleast expects it be able to do “something”… but he may fail to recognize that if she was somewhat capable already he may have died…
