Derek Raeign, the youngest out of the Raeign Family. A Famous family that is known for their exceptionally swordsmanship and body-strengthening mana. Despite Derek's exceptional talent in swordsmanship, when he reaches the age of 5 it is discovered he wasn't born with any mana. Everything in this world has mana, the branches of a tree, the dirt on the ground. Yet Derek had no mana at all within him, he is quickly outclassed by his brothers and sisters, slowly slipping out of the main lineage. Due to his inability to use mana he was falling further behind, to the point where he is abandoned. Derek travels the Brahal Continent, and researches his rare condition. 10 years later and Derek had reached the age of 22, he had finally discovered a substitute for mana, a strange dark liquid. He drinks it and passes out, and when he reawakens he opens his eyes as a baby. --
