Thanks for the chapter. It was really interesting seeing how Amai's still struggling with her new identity and her practice with chakra, as well as how she try to make the kids understand who was Orochimaru and why he defected. Firstly, it was really interesting seeing how Amai's still struggling with her identity and her practice with chakra, as she doesn't have anyone to guide and help her, as well as not wanting to bring some certain individuals attention to herself. To continue, it was also interesting seeing how Amai criticized how the village dealt and got rid of the Uchiha clan. They certainly deserved a punishment for wanting to rebel, but getting annihilated was certainly beyond stupid, as they like it or not, were a powerful clan. So they should have at least left some survivors. But well, besides Itachi and the village, there was also Obito and Zetsu. Lastly, it was really interesting seeing how Amai try to described and explained who were the Sannin to the kids and Rei. She certainly made a good job in describing how they were and behave to the kids in a way they could understand. Though I don't think it was a good idea for Amai to tell the kids such detailed things about the Sannin, as it's something a kid shouldn't know, even less an orphan. But well, she can just brushed it off by saying she heard the adults talking about them. On another note, I can perfectly imagine that in the future, when Amai becomes a lady/teen, she will have to guard herself against Jiraiya, as I believe she will end up having an incident with him in a public bath/ hot springs when she's naked and taking a bath to relax. But well, by that time she will be already a kunoichi, so despite understanding that she shouldn't care or raise a fuss by someone seeing her naked body, she would certainly make one if that person had certain intentions, like Jiraiya, who's researching for some materials for his book. Can't wait to see for what happens next with how Amai will continue to try to practice whenever she can with her chakra. But also, how she will possibly help Rei unlock his chakra.
Well, she should have just said to them that she doesn't know, as I don't think it was a good idea for her to tell the kids such detailed things about the Sannin, as it's something a kid shouldn't know, even less an orphan. But well, she can just brushed it off by saying she heard the adults talking about them if she's ever asked.
And also the legendary 106.
Yeap, he may be a pervert. But I believe he didn't take care of Naruto because he saw the powder keg and political chaos that was Konoha. So believing that Naruto would be taken care off, he decided to leave the village to search for the Child of Prophecy and "Materials" for his books (Especially this one) before he became embroiled in Konoha's politics.
Well, I believe they just survived because they were the Hokage's disciples, because if it had been anyone else, they would have probably (Definitely) died.
Well, it's a good thing that she's self aware.
Well, that's what happens when she now lives in a feudal and conservative world where development is nearly nonexistent due to all the conflicts and wars.
Well, she'll eventually become accustomed to act and behave in accordance to her physical age, as she gradually accepts her new identity and reality.
Well, in my opinion, one of the reasons Konoha wasn't directly attacked was probably because every nation was just recovering from the last war and Danzo, despite being hateful, was keeping the other nations at bay through his Root operatives by creating discord and preventing a direct conflict. Because if not, the already greatly weakened Konoha would have but being nearly destroyed by the other villages.
Well, not everything will go as she planned or wished, nor it will be given to her in a silver platter. So she better get accustomed to it.
