The mc is inconsistent. Sometimes he’s patient and methodical but sometimes he’s extremely reckless. The author can’t seem to make up his mind. It’s like the mc is bipolar but since he’s the mc whatever he does he’s right. Some of the behavior switches are detailed and we see why he’s switching but the author abandons that and eventually just says he’s going to switch because it’s what he should do. The originally interesting personality becomes more and more wooden as we’re told the mc changes but the author fails to mention why/how. A strong opening abandoned for faster mc development.

Finding useful cultivation techniques on his enemies every time 3. A system that seems to change itself every time it’s convenient, it starts off boosting a few attributes but then goes into rewarding growing crops 4. Despite doing good by everyone he keeps getting schemed against to give him an excuse to take all their stuff to sustain his growth in a very passive way The mc is just a salted fish loved by the author.

Ok I’m done. The whole finding rare cultivation techniques on the enemy can be played every so often but it every time is just poor writing.
