It sounds like she's cooked up a justification for murdering those she deems lesser beings. If you have hypnosis powers, or whatever, couldn't you get them to turn their lives around and be better people?

Wouldn't they all be witnesses? Plaintiff and defendent don't come into play unless things go to court.

The changes in tone are very jarring. First she's snapping at the mc and everyone around and now she wants to adopt the mc? I get that she was concerned for her daughter, but that change is wild

+1 to chain sword, but claws and wires would be good too. the rest of the list is getting a bit played out

and if they're doing that out in the open, why on earth is any decent person still in?

This level of secret operation isn't really something someone who has only been in the Army for a few years would have access to, unless they're more than just a generic Private.
