This would make sense if the world wasn’t made of thousands of worlds combined. There is no way a single power could have this much control over people all over this mega world.

That’s fine and makes sense. It can just feel like a waste when the story ends and the MC ends the story just as powerful as he was in the past. As long as he has some growth it should be fine even if he was an all powerful being who wished to live a mortal life.

I swear GREED must have attracted to many edgy weirdos who think love is bad and that an MC should be unfeeling evil mastermind. Humans aren’t unfeeling. In fact we are quite the emotional race. It makes no sense to completely ignore a story because it has romance aspects especially after seeing how good the authors other stories are. I believe he can introduce romance in a way that doesn’t take away from the premise of the story and it’s kinda odd that you don’t.

I think he means in stories that are cultivation centric authors often struggle to find a way to end their stories or provide a reason that some random dude got all powerful, so they just use the “this guy was ultra powerful in his past life and planned out this path to live a mortal life or become even more powerful” trope. This paragraph makes it seem like the MC of this story has been reincarnated and somebody was waiting for him to touch the rock to regain his strength.

I’d say it depends on if the afterlife is true and which version of the afterlife you believe in.
