no build up, no cohesion, no story, just random words that sould like they should go in a porn novel, but end up making no sense in this story. if I could give a 0 I would.
Positives about this story: I haven't seen another DBZ/DxD fic on here. The MC remains human, at least as far as I've read. Negatives: The pacing is terrible. 18 chapters in and nothing related to any kind of plot has happened. There was a 6-8 chapter break from the training montage to have the MC and Baraquiel punch each other for no reason. I can say without any hesitation, skip this story.
Meh, just meh. If the writing quality was better, I'd like it more, but as it is no bueno.
You'd be better off going and drinking Skibidi toilet water than reading this word vomit. do yourself a favor and keep your eyewash station ready if you decide to partake in this crap fest.
This story is terrible. Three sentences in, and I already have a headache from the piss-poor writing.
Nothing makes sense in this story. There is no sense of geography or time. The MC escapes capture and is tracked and hunted like 5 times in a week, but takes days between each capture attempt to get stronger. He escapes from the secret base in the countryside and goes to the nearest town. He then escapes from the police and heads to the woods. Then he escapes from a group of unnamed mutants and heads BACK TO THE SAME TOWN. He escapes the police AGAIN, but doesn't leave town. Then he escapes two groups of assassins, but still doesn't leave town. Oh, by the way, it's actually a city where the Life Foundation is with sewers large enough for people to camp in. Also, he is blasted all over the internet and news channels. Professor X and Magneto both know what town he's in and want to recruit him, but neither send any of their people to the town to find/help him.... I just can't with this.
I want to like this, but it doesn't make any sense. Why is this kid in every city at the same time? He's really close to a secret government base, but also right next to the Life Foundation, who didn't hear about the rampaging mutant in the city. Also, every mutant is so jealous of the MC for having multiple powers when it's super common for mutants to have multiple powers based on the same concept, which in the early chapters can be explained as being offshoots of light. Make it make sense!
Very basic story with decent progression. Overall, it's a fine read. I would have ranked it higher if the grammer and spelling were better.
Overall, a fine idea. However, it reads like someone put a prompt into ChatGPT about this storyline, then translated the result into Chinese, then French, then Arabic, then back to English. If you're looking for quality writing, this is not it. Which is a shame because there is a diamond buried somewhere deep beneath all the crap here.
You lost me the second you didn't know how Aizen's Zanpakto worked.
