Yeah, like Mitch_Gregory said, canon doesn’t expand upon the reasons behind Uzu’s destruction. We know the attack happened during a period when Uzu was dealing with a civil war, and we know that Kumo, Iwa, and Kiri teamed up to launch an attack. The main reason to destroy them was their proficiency with seals. Could’ve also been a Black Zetsu scheme. Trying to enact the plan to resurrect Kaguya while a bunch of crazy Uzumaki seal masters were still around would be begging for trouble. Better just remove them, to be sure things go smoothly.
It means he’s happy to see his big sister figure :))
Don’t worry, I’m not dropping this. I’m just busy writing multiple stories at the same time on QuestionableQuesting.
I kind of doubt that. If Danzō was involved, he would’ve tried to secure a few Uzumaki to restart the clan in the Leaf and also grab some for his Root. I think he was blindsided just like everyone else in Leaf.
The attack on Whirlpool was carefully planned, probably also had some Black Zetsu meddling involved, so the Leaf was most likely kept occupied by 1 or 2 of the big villages, while a coalition of multiple villages attacked Uzu. By the time word reached the Leaf about the attack, even if they managed to send a contingent to help, the fight was already over and Whirlpool sacked.
