I think a mix of both would be good.

Though, I am confused on something. The other chapters have him say he’s talented, but I don’t get that feeling in this chapter.

Also, how much cursed energy does he have.

I like that he made mistakes. I just hope you show that he learned from his mistakes, and how he’s progressing.
