I felt the same way and went and found the book on a different app I use. And in doing so I learned that the author has passed away. so very sad...

lol so I'm reading this on December 13th after putting the kiddos to bed and thinking how I can't wait to drop them off at school tomorrow so I can spend my birthday binge reading this series because I'm so in love with the characters!!!

SO much potential!!!! This would be a FANTASTIC story if there was a prologe or chapter or 2 before where this starts to give a little more background and character development. And then at least another 10 chapters to give it some solid story development and true completion.

I really want to like this book and I'm going to give it a try. But I haven't even made it past the writers definitions of the terms they will use and I'm already cringing. How can the second in command (Beta) be weaker than the warriors (Delta)? In ZERO Hierarchy system would this work. And how do you state that EVERYONE finds their Fated Mates with pheromones BUT the only ones who have pheromones are Alphas and Omegas? Does this mean Betas and Deltas don't have Fated Mates?... If there are this strong of inconsistencies in just the terms and definitions I'm concerned about the entirety of the book... We'll see how it goes.
