My take is that money definitely helps in terms of being happy. But it isn't the sole factor. You are free to disagree though, I didn't write those lines to create some sort of debates in the comments.
Yeah, to cut it short, money doesn't buy happiness. After all the years I've spent fighting, I got paid so much money that I could live pretty much anywhere until the end of my life.
