Everything messed up at dwarf kingdom arc

Author really thought it’s cool to have mc grinning/smirking, etc. whenever he’s fighting! Well it’s not! Probably better if you set MC’s character as battle maniac or smth but no, he was a slave and at most before he became a slave he was just regular person.
