Man. I have already stated that the world he is in, isn't the Boys universe from the series. this is a fanfic, and the characters in this world are more strong, the tech too. if u can't understand that or if u failed to read it in the previous chaps, I would recommend not reading it.

Actually his mother didn't die from the stark weapons. And the reason why MC wants recognition from Tony is probably because he is the only relative of MC. Although he abandoned him, but still he is MC's family. And upon meeting Tony wasn't straightly hating MC

I guess u didn't read the story properly then. It was stated in one of the chapter that MC's power would definitely get weakened. The reason was because the universe would strengthen the characters of it's world, if a strong entity enters to disrupt the balance. that was the whole concept. And about the bullet, Homelander's durability ain't that high, and there would have been made bullets that could pierce his skin if given enough time. I just decided to make Vought more powerful in that way. Moreover it is a fanfic, if it were to be exactly like the series than it would have been better to just watch the series
