The premise is really good as well as unique, the MC has a decent personality as well. But the world itself is extremely vague. I can’t tell what kind of power system this book has. It’s not clearly outlined and there’s no reference to compare. Sometimes it seems like a cultivation novel, but other times it seems like something else entirely. No explanation of organizations, items, professions, etc.

Uhh kind of a spoiler obv but in his book Strongest System, there was a point where a majority of the MC’s wives died and the MC ended up “corrupted” per se and became the servant of an evil diety who was also secretly holding the souls of his wives captive. Mind you this diety had been planning this to happen and was also responsible for his adoptive mother’s death when she tried to protect him from the deity’s influence. It doesn’t sound like much but it’s because Elyon is such a good writer that the arc was so genuinely dark and heart wrenching. It was kind of a meme with Elyon begging his fan base to not find him and torture him for making us read that.

I’m gonna be honest. This is Vampire Slice of Life and My Three Wives Are Beautiful Vampires combined. The power system is similar to MTWABV and the over-the-top pedophilia is reminiscent of Vampire Slice of Life. The MC isn’t bad himself, but the characters change their moods and thoughts way too quickly for no reason making them all seem disingenuous. The harem feels so forced. The plot is alright, and the story is fairly unique as well. I suppose it just comes down to individual taste but my biggest gripe would be the romance. It’s very forced and inexplicable. The MC’s first two harem members have their feelings explained in maybe a paragraph and then it just makes sense for them to be aroused by a 12 year old.
