I actually posted an auxiliary chapter yesterday, stating that I wasn't able to post yesterday due to some annoying reasons and will be uploading two chapters today as an apology.

I didn’t take into account that it was already exam week at uni, let’s just say that this will come to effect right after exams. I also ran out of stocked chapters from when I was sick so please forgive me

Um, Corruption Manipulation isn't really an offensive evil craft-- it's more like a utility skill of some sorts, though it would be explained more clearly in the future when it is its time to shine. Hey man, I just want to know how much I appreciate your comments and critics. Rest assured as I will continue to improve as an author. I only give bits of info as some sort of a "sneak peek" towards what we don't know yet. I refrain from giving too much as- it may not be obvious- I really hate info-dumping. The concept of divine power will be further tackled in the future chapters.

I'm sorry, but there are certain implications (which may have not been stated clearly) in that certain situation. His adaptation is not at that level yet, whereas his corruption manipulation isn't applicable in the situation.

Well, he's adaptation at this point in time has yet to reach its full potential. It's more of like a passive skill that "reacts" to stimuli. It will be more fleshed out in the later chapters, so don't worry.
